"Dealer had in stock a nationally back ordered CV axle that I have been trying to find for 2 months.
Excellent price Toyota’s Holiday 25%off and free shipping. Fast turnaround time. Got the part in two days.
Tried to order a second for my other Camry but the website kept saying no part in stock. Called dealership and they said they had more in stock but the website does not have the ability to know inventory so they couldn’t override the website to allow the order to go through probably because the part is flagged as being back ordered.

50k mile checkup

"Recommendations included
1) wheel alignment for $129.95 - I had already had this done at this very same dealership in August (3 months earlier) for $99.00. Appears that someone is not checking the vehicle history or giving their best deal.
2) replace the hybrid battery filter for $114.58. I bought the filter from this dealership for $10.00 and took 10 minutes to install it myself. Way overpriced.
3-5) Change fluids on power steering, brakes and auto transmission for a total of $777.00 that is high. It seems that a minimum hour charge is added to each individual task even though doing all three tasks at once can be done more efficiently. Hourly charges should be recalculated for multiple tasks done at the same time.
6) Fuel injector cleaning - $201.44 - Perhaps reasonable.

Convenient

"I ordered a spare tire kit for my 2023 Toyota Sienna. The box was pretty beat up. The parts representative asked if I wanted to look at the parts for damage. We looked at the parts and they were undamaged. He also helped me load the large box into the van. A huge thank you for the excellent customer service."

Dealership Canceled My Order

"I ordered an item online for a new 2024 Tacoma. Toyota was having a 20% off sale for the 4th of July weekend which is what prompted me to place my order. A couple of days later I received an email that said my order was canceled because it was out of stock and on back order. I called to see if they would give me a rain check so I could get the discount when the item was back in stock and was told no. The item still shows that’s it’s available online, so there’s no way to know if it’s really in-stock or not. I understand that Toyota’s online system got hacked and was out of commission for a while, but the dealership should have done the right thing and offered a rain check. They weren’t willing to give a customer a $20 credit who just spent 50k on a truck which is pretty sad and greedy. "

"I ordered 6 oil filters and 4 bolts and made the mistake of not counting everything when I was at the counter. When I got home I found that I had been shorted 1 oil filter. I blame myself for not checking; but I shouldn't have had to."

"I ordered a part for my Tacoma and you cancelled my order because the part is back ordered. I still need it when it is available! I don't care if it is backordered. Why would you?! What am I supposed to do now ... call once a week and waste your people's time, and my time asking if it is still backordered. Not very efficient for either of us."

Grand Highlander hitch - poor service

"Bought a new car, asked to have a hitch installed. Parts Dept sent a message indicating parts arrived. Called to get installation cost, heard confusion about parts, then no response after weeks. Found YouTube instructions, Ordered parts for self install, received message that my order is cancelled because parts are on backorder. Not a happy customer. "
