I'm currently in Hawaii, vacationing with my family & we are thrilled! Last minute, we got some flight deals and decided to take our first vacation since the pandemic. Hawaii has always been a dream of ours to visit.
We ordered family ensembles in Hawaiian clothing from Lavahut. Muumuu for mom. Shirts for dad, husband and the boys. Plus matching dresses for me & my girls.
The ensemble was wonderful & we can't wait to see our portraits from the photographer. These happy memories wouldn't have been possible without the service we received from Lavahut. Really, it was 5 stars. We would give more if we could.
The quality was wonderful & the fabric so soft. Best of all, the Hawaiian clothes are all made in Hawaii & the kids actually wanted to wear it.

"Avoid at all costs. LavaHut was caught red-handed. They tried stealing and then covering it up. If you ever have an issue with the company, get ready for a tirade of invective spewed out of their bitter souls like a bloated volcano. They are mean and will try to hide the theft, then curse the customer. The strangest company I’ve ever done business with. If your transaction doesn’t go smoothly, you better be ready with attorneys. "
"The clothing was beautiful, however, the sizes were much smaller than anticipated so I had to return the order. I sent the order back to the address provided using USPS Priority mail. The package has been sitting at the post office for over a week, and the post office is getting ready to return to sender. I have made 3 attempts to contact Lavahut to find out the problem getting this return from the post office (the address is a PO box) and they haven't returned any of my communication. Originally I was disappointed that the clothing didn't fit, now I am angry that they won't stand behind the return policy. It won't let me update the purchase date below, but I purchased the items on Feb 3, 2021 and sent them back on Feb 26, 2021 after receiving the order on Feb 25, 2021."
"Last minute shopper, I ordered a bunch of Hawaiian shirts & Hawaiian dresses for me & the family just a few days before we leave for our Hawaiian vacay. Man, by the skin of my teeth... Lavahut shipped my clothes same day to my Waikiki hotel -- Just in time for Christmas!
Bonus: My kids loved the matching shirts to their mom & dad... And our holiday card will definitely have the coolest Hawaiian outfit yet! Family pic in Makaha with crazy sunset!

"I ordered the Pauahi Ulu Hawaiian dress for my wedding two days ago, payment went through. I got an email from them yesterday stating the order could not be processed because the dress sold out permanently. They offered to substitute my order. I went back to the website and found that all their white wedding dresses are off permanently except a muumuu that is nothing like what I want. I emailed them twice back, the first time asking what else they have to substitute that is of similar fashion. No response. I emailed the second time stating I wanted a refund, no response. Now I am left with having to deal with my bank to put a stop payment. And am back to searching for a wedding dress. I had my heart set on this one. I am very disappointed. If an item is sold out or sold out permanently, the website should be maintained so that I don't spend money and waste my time. I most likely will never order through them again. "
"We ordered the white Pauahi Hawaiian dress for our beach wedding recently. Had a seamstress adjust the length (I'm petite), but otherwise very comfortable and wore it dancing afterwards. Paid $17 for international shipping to Australia... Satisfied overall. Cheers."

"I live in Hawaii and usually wear Kahala brand shirts. Last summer I was invited to a friend's Hawaiian-themed wedding, and needed a white-on-white Hawaiian shirt. No one on the island had what I was looking for. A few local shops had polyester styles, but I wanted real cotton. Finally checked Lavahut if they had white-on-white Hawaiian shirts in cotton. Guess what? They did! The shirts turned out awesome, and I totally dig the real coconut buttons. I did wash the shirts before wearing since they were pressed at the factory, and the fabric softens nicely after a good wash. My younger brother has since 'borrowed' my Lavahut shirt for his college interviews. He now calls it his lucky shirt!"
"Pleasantly surprised how quick the order came. I live in Hawaii and wanted to avoid the malls. Actually considered Hilo Hattie first since they are one of the old timers. Their selection wasn't as large as Lavahut. The dress I bought grabbed a lot of compliments at my company function and needless to say, I will definitely return!"
