First point: The order was sent to me in a timely way.
These Snow Master helmets run SMALL no matter what size you order. I've ordered two and sent the first 1 x back -as I could not get in on my head.
If you wear a large and you want to try a Snow Master you had better try to find a triple xxx, or at least a two xx.

Secondly point and most importantly:
The helmet is just horrible, and unsafe at any speed! I tried it two times (during the latest December snow storm in Michigan) and in seconds the shield fogged over -rendering the helmet totally useless.
"Well, I said to self, "Perhaps I did something wrong, I'll try it again tomorrow."
I did, with the exact SAME result!
Determined to try-out our brand-new foot of fluff I donned my old but badly scratched HJC and went for a ride.
From my experience, there is no way for ones breath to exit this (SM) helmet without some of it traveling upwards to fog the lens. And fog it, it surely does!
A good quality helmet, with a good breath shield, has absolutely no problem in keeping ones vision fog-free. This helmet by comparison fails miserably.
The breath deflector on this Snow Master winter helmet is a joke, and does NOT work at all.
And the supposed electric heated shield…is bunk!
(This helmet even requires installing a {rewiring} kit, from battery to the plug, because of their proprietary end fixtures.)
And after all of that fiddling around the electric shield did absolutely NOTHING by way of keeping the lens fog-free! Nothing! In my estimation therefore, it is unsafe at any speed.
Beware: Do NOT Buy these helmets from Leather UP, IE: The Snow Master TX-797S Glossy Black Modular Snowmobile Helmet with electric heated shield.
You will be just throwing your money away, that is if you plan on using it in cold winter weather like we have in the upper mid-west.
Who knows, this helmet may work in summer. ? Haven't tried it, and most likely will not.
But folks, this helmet was not tagged as a summer helmet, it was tagged or advertised as a winter helmet! And it sucks big time when I used as advertised! (In my humble opinion.)
And I do know helmets somewhat, as I have been riding snowmobiles -on an average of 2-3 thousand miles a year -and wearing a variety of helmets since purchasing my first one decades ago.
...And I can tell you without reservation...this is NOT an effective winter helmet. It may be a very poor imitation of a winter brain-bucket, but it fails by a country mile.
Stay away from it like the plague, and spend the extra money on a name brand winter helmet instead.
