"As I was inspecting and trying on the Xelement jacket I had ordered from Leatherup.com, I noticed one long front plastic zipper had separated and another long zipper partially separated. I was able to rejoin the halves of one zipper and it seemed to be working ok then. The other zipper had some kind of manufacturing defect along about a third of the length. Also, two of the snaps on the outer shell sleeves pulled away from the sleeve making them unusable. I emailed Leatherup about the problems and asked for a replacement under their advertised guarantee. Their rep informed me that, even though I had just received the jacket the day before, they wouldn't honor the guarantee because I had removed the tags. She asked me to send her pictures of the defective parts for review by a manager who would decide if they accept the return. A few days later I received an email with an RMA number to return the jacket. But after making me jump through those hoops, and paying for the return shipping, I just didn't trust them change their minds after getting the jacket back. So I kept the jacket and had it repaired, again at my expense."
"I ordered a BROWN leather blazer for a Christmas gift. When it arrived it was black. I was disappointed and called customer service immediately, instead of being helpful she questioned my ability to know colors and demanded I take a picture of the tag and my invoice. I sent the pictures she requested. Didn’t get a response so I emailed her, and asked if she got it, she answered yes...I requested a paid return label, as I wanted to take care of this on Friday(day after Thanksgiving). Again no reply. So I mailed the package back at my expense $18.44 (USP) on Friday morning.
Later in the afternoon 3:42pm Val called. I was none too happy and told her so. She said check your spam....label wasn’t there, about 3 minutes later a prepaid label appeared in my email. I would like my postage refunded, however given the rotten unsatisfactory customer service, I doubt I will ever see it! I want nothing more to do with leatherup."

My mistake but they fit great as regular jeans. I will order another pair 2x larger for the spring and fall riding here in New England. Great company and really fast delivery!"
