My wife has been a Med for thirty years, when the zipper on a jacket is six inches apart, that's an XS possibly XXS. I reordered immediately XL's as to not miss out on them being out of stock. They could not marry the two orders obviousness and I missed out on discounts because my initial order fell below spending requirements. Just disappointed. "Even with several good reviews I was skeptical about the quality of $100 leather jacket but the B & M options were at least 3 times that price so I took a chance. The jacket looks as good or better than the pictures, the leather is nice and thick and it appears to be well made. Everything works like it should, zippers are smooth, lining comes out easy and the armor is easy to get in and out. I don't really have any negative remarks just some comments...the jacket is heavy, even with the lining and armor removed, and like everyone else has already stated, order up 1 size. I normally wear an XL and the 2XL is big enough to wear over another layer if necessary. Don't hesitate, just buy it!"

When l called the first time I was told that it was received and was being processed. When a few weeks went by and I hadn't received the replacement, I called again and at that time I was told that the return was never received. I ended up having to buy if again.

"I'm super-happy with my purchases. I got an Xelement jacket w/flying skull on back. After reading the reviews I was concerned about the sizing and almost didn't buy it. I was also suspicious because the price was so affordable. But most reviewers said they had no difficulty exchanging or returning it. I decided to read as many of the reviews as I could to determine my size. They all said to order at least a size larger. I normally wear a XXL (which I found out in the clothing world is different than a 2XL). Though they don't offer this jacket in the XXL, I decided to order 2 sizes up (3XL). I'm 5'08" and 215 lbs. The jacket fits like it was custom-made. The sleeves are perfect length (I have broad shoulders, which gives me problems finding anything that fits off the rack).

The quality of the leather is far better than I imagined. It is soft and comfortable. I haven't ridden with the jacket but was concerned about the snap-up collar. If I want to ride with the jacket partially open, I was worried about the snap flopping in the wind and beating me to a pulp. I discovered I can snap it in a "circle" to the female lead on the same side. This prevents it from flopping around while riding; just have to remember to unsnap when I get to my destination or it may look a little off. The rest of the design is fantastic. Can't wait to get this thing on the road this weekend! I have previously had 4 leather jackets; this one is by far the best value and among the best quality. I paid $400-$500 for my other jackets (used to ride for a living). This jacket is definitely in the same league as those other, more expensive ones. I highly recommend this jacket.

My friend ordered a similar, but different Xelement jacket (the police-style one). He is 6'04" and tips the scales around 220 lbs. He ordered the 2XL and says it fits him perfectly. "
