"I went to the leather-up website, knew what I wanted, ordered it and couldn't believe how fast it was delivered to my door step. The jacket had a lot of option upgrades that I wasn't expecting. 1st of all the leather was quality leather and the perfect size. I got a zipped in full liner with long sleeves that is so warm for winter. All removable and can be cleaned zipped out including the long sleeves for the hot summer. Also it had two inside pockets with banding to hold your wallet in place, hang your keys so you don't lose either of them. lastly to my delight there is a spot for my lipstick, or chapstick, whatever. "I've owned a few pair of motorcycling gloves and they've just not done the job. I paid 3-4 times as much for them before discovering these. To begin with, my hands are cold all of the time when outside in cool weather. I wear liner gloves even when out walking in the low to mid 50's. But these gloves don't let any air inside. They say they're waterproof and as a fair weather rider I hope to not test that...but they do not allow air inside. I live in Northern California, so don't have to worry about riding in temps in the 20's. But the other day I took these out at 39 degrees at 70 mph for about 40 minutes and while cool, my hands were still not numb and I had no loss of dexterity. I've been out in the mid 40's with these at my normal cruise speeds in the mid 50's and my hands stay pretty warm.
The quality is superb...when I took them out of the box, my wife accusingly asked: "So, what did you pay for those...:" The leather is beautiful, supple and well stitched together. I really like the knuckle protection and that the palm is grippy enough to keep my throttle open without having to strangle it. So, we each have different idea's of what cold feels like, but I like these, and, they're going to make this years winter riding a lot more fun!"
