"Received the over pants in a timely fashion. Had read the suggestions about ordering one size up from what I wear in jeans, this held true. I wear 36-38 jeans depending on manufacturer and ordered size 40 in the over pants. I'm 6' and around 245 with a medium size belly *lol*.
The snaps on the side at the waste help with proper adjustment if needed, although one of mine doesn't seem to hold well, nothing a nice pair of leather suspenders wont cure ( also looks sharper ). I wear a belt with my jeans so another belt for the cover pants is just so much at the waist line.
They were definitely long enough....to re-quote advice I read here to the newbie riders :
DO NOT cut them off until you actually SIT ON YOUR BIKE and THEN get a good length measurement at that point, they WILL be to short if you cut them off to your regular jeans/pants length before doing this !
Good quality leather, thickness is better than I expected ! Nice to have inside liner go a little past the knees as well. I'm saving the cut off material from mine in case I want to make some buckle straps on the waste line if the snaps should ever turn out to be a pain not staying closed. In my opinion, the side zippers should have been reversed from how they are, zipping from the knee TO the waist is kind of backwards to me and makes getting into your jeans/pants pockets a little more challenging if you needed to do so, but its not something i' over concerned about.
Over all I'm very pleased with my purchase, no muss, no fuss ! I'd buy them again if the need should arise.
