"I have been shopping at Leisure Pro for more than several years for almost all of my dive gears, especially after I lost my friend who used to own his dive shop locally.
I chose Leisure Pro as my go-to scuba equipment store. Of course their price is really great, however, it is not the biggest reason why I chose them for my ONLY scuba items online store. It is their "beyond amazing customer care and service and how they stand firmly behind their merchandise."
It is rare to find this kind of store these days. When I shop at Leisure Pro and when I have to exchange or return items (unfortunately that happens with any shopping occasionally), they make you feel you are actually dealing with real people (and you are) and they make sure your desire is met and give you assurance that they care about your concerns and need.
At Leisure Pro, you know what you are buying is in excellent condition and you know whom you are buying from, unlike a place like Amazon which you don't know who those sellers are. I really hope this highly specialized and wonderful company will thrive through this era and stay in business strong. Based on my experience with them, I am their life-time loyal customer (so is my husband with Leisure Pro)! "

"I'm new to this company having only ordered from them twice. First time from Amazon, then this last time directly. Both times I had to change my order midstream and then return certain items due to fit issues and so forth. Their customer service could not be better - by phone and by internet chat and by email. Used them all. And, that is what it is all about. No company gets everything right and customers often make mistakes in ordering - it's how the company handles these issues that distinguishes them. "I was initially told that my order of two pairs was on backorder...ok, but after about 2-3 weeks, I asked for an update. THEN, I was told that one pair was in stock, but the other was on backorder. I decided to just take the single pair and cancel the second. That was done. However, Leisure Pro charged me the exact same for shipping one pair as they had indicated for two pairs. The shoes, which weigh maybe 6 ounces came in a box that is 2X2 feet! The shoes took up less than 25% of space. the rest was occupied by inflatable plastic...mind you these are cloth and rubber shoes...not exactly breakable!
I feel like I was overcharged on shipping and that I was not informed up front about actual status of my order. I will probably look elsewhere for equipment in the future.
Ok..after my complaint about being charged the same for shipping one pair the same as for two pairs, they refunded me the entire shipping bill. Kudos to them for that. I still think that they were deficient in not telling me about the true backorder status initially. They did try to make order good."
"I bought the Suunto Dive computer and arrived very quickly. The one menu button was stuck so I called and they shipped out a different and even checked the watch to make sure all the buttons worked properly. Works amazing and the price was fantastic. I recently purchased a dive computer that didn’t meet my needs (my error; not Leisure Pro’s). They have a straight forward and “no hassle” return/exchange policy that they really do conform to. Following my return, I purchased another dive computer from them that perfectly matches my preferences. I highly recommend Leisure Pro!!

"Leisurepro engages in unlawful bait and switch practices. I purchased two items (Scubapro Premium Boat Coats) that Leisurepro.com advertised as being in stock. They charged my card for the full amount, but the next day emailed me with a receipt that said they were backordered (and not due to be in for another month . . . well after my planned trip). Mind you, the email they sent me telling me the items were backordered did not make it clear - I had to read well down into the email. That email was really just a receipt that included my other items, and next to the Boat Coats, it said "backordered items".
When I called, they tried to sell me "alternative options", which is classic bait and switch - and it is unlawful. I think it makes it worse, because they actually took my money first. Because of the unlawful bait and switch, I'll be reporting them to the BBB as well."
