terrible products and terrible service

"bought utensils from them.
after 6 months all of them are rusting.
called B, B and Beyond. they said no refund.
called Lenox and they said the same.
they did not care about my concerns.
i have few sets and nothing like this happened to my sets.
DO NOT BUY anything from LENOX.

Christmas ornament tradition

"Each year beginning 17 years ago I purchase each of my 4 grandchildren a Christmas ornament from Lenox. They treasure each one! This year I had a coupon for 20% off. I placed my order and added the coupon which was accepted but when the order was finalized, I did not get the 20% off. I m by contacted them by email. I was assured when I got the package they would refund the 20%. I was notified today my refund was in process. I was very happy with the customer service I received as well as all the products I have purchased over the years. Outstanding company!"

Lenox does not honor their Breakage Replacement Program

"I purchased crystal glassware from Lenox in 2018. These were expensive glasses but I was happy to pay the price because they were beautiful AND they came with a lifetime Breakage Replacement Program. So, if any of the glasses were chipped Lenox would give you 50% off a new purchase on the same glass. I had a few that were chipped so I reached out to Lenox and was told that the Breakage Replacement Program is no longer in effect for glassware as of June 2020. I said that is fine, but I purchased these glasses while the program was in place, not after, so I should still be covered, right? Of course, they said no (which is why the one-star), I was not covered, sorry.
I do not recommend buying products from Lenox or Lenox.com as I believe what they did was underhanded. Imagine paying a premium for a warranty on a new car purchase and a few weeks later the company announces that they are not offering that warranty anymore. Doesn't make sense to me, but I am just the customer.

Will NEVER order from them again!!!

"After a few years of having no problems from Lenox, suddenly I cannot get the one Christmas ornament delivered to a friend as a gift that I ordered one week before Thanksgiving--and here it is January.

After leaving two messages on their site over a period of three weeks, I called customer service on January 8, should've done that at the beginning but doubtful it would've done any good. After being put on hold for almost two minutes, I was told that the item had just been personalized and is about to be shipped and that I would be emailed a tracking number. Even though that was only two days ago, I suspect the customer service rep told me that the item had just been personalized just so I wouldn't be able to get my money back. Would I have been told this same thing if I had called weeks ago instead of sending them messages that they ignored?

I have no intention of dealing with these people ever again! And I have every intention of telling friends and family not to do so either.

Don’t pay for expedited shipping

"I paid for expedited 2-day shipping, it was sent out on Friday and there’s still no update on the order 4 days later. It’s being shipped from Virginia to North Carolina, it shouldn’t take that long! On their website they said they use FedEx but my package was mailed with UPS. After reading the reviews here I’m worried that it won’t be delivered at all. Don’t waste your money on these products. "

customer service is non existent!

"I had a problem with a order I had JUST placed. I tried to get it resolved immediately by calling customer service. They were unable to help and had no ability or authorization to make changes to the order. I asked for a supervisor and was told it would be several weeks before one would get back to me. Of course, by then, it would be far to late to do anything. Very frustrating, very unhelpful employees, very disappointing. Lenox you can do much better. "

I wish I could give ZERO stars--!!!

"I have purchased several hundreds of dollars' worth of product from Lenox every year. This year, even when paying for 2nd day shipping, NOTHING has arrived, and with four separate orders, NONE have shipped after 15 days. They guaranteed before-Christmas delivery, even without the 2nd day shipping. Now I receive a single email saying "sorry, we are overwhelmed, so your item(s) is late. Here's 20% off your NEXT order." No mention of which order to this refers--and even so, I ordered three weeks before Christmas--and there's NO reason for the items to be late.

I am disgusted with their customer service, their shipping...!! I will be finding another manufacturer for my Christmas decor--and will ensure that it is not affiliated!

Worst webiste ever. Fraudulent.

"I had no choice but to write this review. This is my first time ordering from Lenox. My order wasn't ready 1 month after the order date. Upon calling customer care, they were really unapologetic about the delay and told me that the order wont be cancelled. Its been 2 weeks after that call and my order is still not ready. They don’t want to return the money and are not even willing to change the delivery address on the order. NEVER ORDER FROM LENOX."

There is nobody worse at shipping merchandise than Lenox

"Having dealt with many vendors over the years, including Luxottica, Vera Bradley, 4Ocean, Aldomartins, Victorinox, Ugg, and many more smaller companies, I can confidently say that I have never seen a company that does a worse job of shipping their merchandise than Lenox.

This is not a review for a specific experience, but an altogether summation of their practices over several years. Under no circumstance can we trust that a shipment will arrive with all items intact. Glass items often arrive shattered. Cushioning and void fill are routinely underutilized, often only protecting one single side of the entire box, with air cushioning usually tossed in uninflated. Packing lists are missing on a regular basis: it cannot be determined whether packers neglected to include it in the first place or whether it has been lost in transit, because boxes sometimes arrive unsealed. Any competent shipper knows that without proper void fill, the movement of objects inside can easily lead to a box opening during transit before it reaches its destination, to say nothing of likely breakage of fragile merchandise. I have plenty of photographic evidence.

Lenox's B2B website fortunately makes it easy to report breakage, and replacements are usually shipped with the attention that should be given to other orders, but this would obviously not be necessary if shippers were trained to do their job with even a minimum of care.

Given that this has been the case for years (and I cannot believe that our experiences are unique) it seems to be the case that upper management does not give a whit. There is clearly no proactive approach to auditing their processes. Many people are clearly asleep at the wheel. The entirety of shipping management should be liquidated and restaffed, with the shipping crew completely retrained from the bottom up. We do not expect any forward progress in this area.

Horrible service and way overcharged

"I ordered an ornament and never received a tracking email. So I reached out and that same day they shipped it and charged my card 5 times!!!! I called for an explaination and refund the lady was rude. Argued for 5 minutes that there was no order. Then when she found it aga in I have to argue cause she said I was not charged. Then she gets rude, says she can't do anything. Needless to say I am mad. I also emailed and no response 10 emails later. So I will now let my bank handle this and never again use lenox."

Horrible customer service and NO shipping information

"I recently ordered a personalized and after reaching out to them three-times I received the same answer. The item was never received and Lenox REFUSES to provide me any tracking information. The representative told me it was a mistake on their part. How does this solve my issue?
I have NEVER heard of not receiving tracking information for an item. Ridiculous!

Lenox is a joke.

"I ordered a personalized ornament for a family who just lost their child right before the Holidays. I placed the order on December 7th and by December 17th I’ve noticed the item still did not ship. I’ve called and sent multiple emails and was told my item would be here by the 24th as I’ve made the December 8th cutoff. Well sure enough today I got an email stating my item would not be here for Christmas but that they would still ship it out later and that’s when I will then be charged and later “refunded.” I called and they could provide no real answer to me, stating they had no additional notes to provide and could not tell me a timeframe as to when my item will ship. I also stated that personalized items are never refunded so how will I know once my item ships that I will truly be refunded. They claim an executive order has been made. What a poor excuse. Nothing of what their saying makes any sense and no I have to make sure I keep money in my account so I don’t overdraft whenever they randomly decide to charge me. I would never do business with this company again. "

Horrible customer service and ordering is a total headache

"I ordered a personlized gift for a new born, the name was written incorrectly. Of course, no returns are allowed and I had to order the same gift AGAIN with the correct spelling. I opted to send the gift directly to the recipient, it took weeks for them to receive it. Immediately after ordering, I called Lenox several times to make sure they put my name as the person sending the gift. Horrible customer service!!!! They couldn't do it, they were not interested to even help me! Even though the gift wasn't going to ship for another week, they refused to put my name as the gifter. Of course, my friend got the gift and did not know that it was from me. I've never shopped on a site that doesn't allow you to put your name as the sender. Last time to shop at Lenox, will never ever do it again period. "
