"Same thing happened to me. Ordered a Nikon SB 910 flash and guy called and suggested I get a sigma flash with an instant rebate. I received flash but its not the one he mentioned. Now i just tried to call and email them and their site is down and their number is not in service.

What can I do? How do you report these guys?

"Buy nothing at this store. They advertised a Sigma 18-50 Pro lens, a new model for over $600 dollars. They sent me the old model, which was priced at $199 at Amazon and B&H. The refused to take the lens back unless I paid an outrageous restocking fee of $150.
Rick is the sales guy, a real yappy con artist. Stay away

"Never Buy Lens from LensClearance.com Its a SCAM.....I ordered for a 100-400MM canon lens. After a day i get a call from Rick, I was informed that he use to build these lens earlier and i would not be happy with the order i placed and there is another lens which just arrived and will be better option on the one i ordered. After our discussion I refused the option provided by Rick, requested to proceed further with my original order. Next day i get similar call again from Rick asking for Credit card CVV number and then another new lens offer in place. I stick to my original order. Latter when call back to know the status of the order i get a reply stating it will take 10 weeks for my order to be shipped......THESE GUYS ARE FRAUD.......DON'T BUY LENS FROM THESE GUYS....."

"This is SCAM! Same scenario as everyone else before, only if I read it before. I was propose to "upgrade" to something worth $250 they would sell me for $420...
I refused and candled my order, I just hope now they will not use my credit card details. Probably I'll have to call the bank and block it.
THIEVES and SCAM ARTISTS. AVOID!

"Like other folks I had the same experence. The AF-S Nikon 24-70MM F/2.8G ED Lens was advertized for half of retail price. The lens went from on hand, to have to check with warehouse, to back ordered. The I was told that the lens had just gone digital and they were trying to get me a new one of those. Well those of you who have re-searched this lense knows better. Order has been canceled!"

"LENSCLEARANCE.COM SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!!

These crooks are using the old "bait & switch" routine. I placed and order on their website and received a very generic confirmation via email for a flash at a price $200 lower than everyone else. If it's too good to be true it usually is.

I called them after about 10 days and they told me the same BS they tell everyone else that the 3-digit code in the back of my card was not entered. ABSOLUTE LIE! He then told me that he used to work for Nikon and attempted to sell me a crappy Sigma flash at a price $200 higher than market prices. When I asked if they had product in stock, they said "they need to speak to the warehouse department and would get back to me." Yeah right. Glad I didn't hold my breath.

I then called them again a few days later and asked them "do you have any more of the product in stock" to which they responded "yes." I called his bluff and said I'd take 4 for immediate shipment, but he immediately recanted and said "oh, they are on back order but we can take more orders."

When customers press them for a delivery date, they attempt to dissuade them by saying "it will take 3 or 4 more weeks" hoping customers will cancel the order. These guys are playing the numbers game by getting a high volume of callers with impossibly low prices (BAIT) and pretending to be authorities by claiming to have worked at Canon or Nikon to convince unsuspecting callers to buy OVERPRICED GARBAGE instead (SWITCH).

Avoid these scam artists, their website was setup in November of 2011 and is less than 6-months old. Now that people are on to them they will shut it down and likely repeat the scam

There is ZERO CHANCE they will ever send me my flash. I must now cancel my credit card since I've provided these crooks with my number.

"After finding them by way of a Google search, I made an online order 3/20/12 from this merchant for a new Canon auto-focus lens. The Google search showed a $219 cost, but the actual purchase price (without tax or shipping) was $269 when I visited the merchant's website. I made the purchase using Google wallet. I inquired online 3/20 and 3/21 about the shipping date. On 3/22, I received a call from "Rick". Basically, he told me I wouldn't be happy with the lens I ordered, and he tried to sell me a lens with different specifications -- and a higher price. Having already done my research, I declined to change my order. On 3/23, I received an email from Google Wallet that the order was canceled by the merchant, because the lens had been "discontinued." Clearly (at least in my mind), I had not bitten on the merchant's bait-and-switch tactic."

"I ordered the following on 3/11/12: "Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Zoom Lens [Lens hood:Lens Hood (IMPORTANT FOR LENS) SALE]." The receipt and the shipping option I chose said: "FREE USPS Parcel (FREE) 4-5 Days (24-48hrs to process) otherwise we ship it right away." At no point did their listing online (or the receipt they emailed me) state that the item was unavailable.

A day after I ordered, I received a call from a salesperson claiming that I forgot to put in my CVV number on my credit card. After I confirmed it, he proceeded to claim that he used to work for Canon and to ask him all sorts of questions if I had any. I said I had none and then he tried to up sell a Sigma lens that's $100 more than what I ordered. He also said they have been receiving a lot of returns for the item I ordered. I said I will think about it. I then thought about it and I said I want what I originally ordered.

Five days after the order date, I checked the status of my order online and it said that they were still "processing" it. I emailed them and I inquired when I would get my lens. They said "7-10 business days." I was not happy but I confirmed that I should get my lens by March 23 at the latest (which is 10 business days from my date of order). They responded that I will get my lens in "April." I responded that an April delivery date is unacceptable since they advertised 4-5 days shipping. They then responded "We do not have it available."

I immediately canceled the order.
