"I recently purchased a Canon 100-400 L II from LensAuthority.
The price of the lens was somewhat lower than other resellers, so I was kind of skeptical and worried about the condition of the lens at first.
They must have a real strict policy about the condition of their lenses, because mine was only graded a "Fine", or 5.5/10 on the box, but I feel like the condition is way better than I anticipated. I thought there would be huge chunks of paint missing, which would be pretty ugly on a white lens, but surprisingly it was only chipped in one small area, which I think is great for a lens that is rated "moderate wear".
The glass portion was also said to have numerous coating scratches, which to my eye were really really subtle.
Overall, I think these guys are amazing resellers, selling used equipment at better conditions for a lower price. Also, free ground shipping on orders over $100!! I'll definitely buy from these guys again if I'm looking for new gear."
