Also while it was being "made" as I thought it was, they pinged my credit card 6 times. I will not be returning to them and good luck if you do!"

"Leslie Pools is baiting and switching customers with pool closing. I was quoted online, and by phone, that pool closing would be $250 plus a $45 trip charge. When they arrived, I confirmed and allowed the work to begin. After it was done, I was told it would now be $320 plus a $48.15 trip charge. Since I verbally requested a price before services were done and were quoted the price they gave me, I should not be asked to pay the additional fees they added. This is a clear violation of bait and switch. The seller should clarify the price when a customer inquires about service and price. After I reached out to customer service, they quickly told me the price and asked me to send the quoted price to them. They are trying to scam people by making them believe they are cheaper until the service is done. Local pool places near me had a better price, but Leslie said they could match, and they were wrong. I request that the agreed-upon price be honored, or I am left with no option but to take this to court and allow a judge to preside over the case. I am tired of these companies deceiving customers with lowball offers and then jacking up the price."
"Leslie’s has switched to an off shore call center and it is horrible. They screwed up my closing date and request and then said it would be 4 weeks before they could get back out. That’s BS. The people you get on the phone are very hard to even understand. The local store manager even admitted it is terrible and that upper management is doing nothing to correct it. They have closed my pool for 14 years but now have lost my business for sure. "

"I bought two buckets of ChlorBrite and I tried to open them, but couldn't do it. I called one of the stores, and they told me how to do it. I did as instructed and could not open them. I watched a couple of videos posted on YouTube on how to open these buckets. Apparently, many more people have had the same problem, still I couldn't.
I tried to open them for the next two days; same result. Then I chatted online with someone on their website, and they told me to go to the store so that the employees can open it for me. That's 30 minutes away from home.
It amazes me that this people can make a product that works, but put in in a container that can't be opened. Their chemists do a great job; the guy that designs their buckets does not, and that's the one that **** me off."
"Had Leslie's put in a new pool pump and motor, they put in a subpar motor and pump, takes 4 weeks for tech to come out to fix, brock again, Leslie's to hard to contact, no call backs, and just terrible service. I was able to contact three separate pool repair companies and all said the pump and motor sold to me is garbage and they will not service such motors and pumps. I ended up having a totally new system installed because I will not shop at Leslie's pools anymore nor do I want them on my property.

"If I could, I would give negative stars. I purchased pool steps online. It took over a week for them to realize they didn't have the steps to ship to me, and then they canceled the order.
What's worse, is that they have not yet refunded my card, over a MONTH later! I have called Customer Service multiple times now, and just keep getting told to give it another 1-2 days, and they promise it will be refunded.
I will never shop here again!"
"bought a 15 dollar jet but it was defective. returned it the next day and was told they could only have a corporate check sent to me which i never received and they will do nothing to help me, very ignorant counter people and calling the 800 number is also useless and outsourced to india. anyway i ended up buying a better quality hayward jet from amazon for 6 dollars shipped to my house. the store i dealt with was the dickson city pa store and counter guys name was rich that i dealt with, a total idiot. stay away from this store. also left a message with the district manager whose name is derrick who never called me back."
"Purchased a NEW Polaris 380 pool cleaner and was sent a used item. They didn't even try to hide it as they just put my shipping label for 5/2022 over the previous one from 9/2021. The unit was dirty, thrown loosely in the box, the fitting that screws into the pool port was mangled from someone using pliers instead of a wrench, and the factory sealed tape was cut and simply taped over with clear tape. The item even shipped from the "return department". Their customer care replied promptly to my initial inquiry and then after I provided the requested photos for verification, they ghosted me. Will be disputing the charge with my CC and contacting the BBB as well. DO NOT buy anything from them. "
"I purchased two gal of muriatic acid from my local Leslie's. Its regular price was $29.99 and the sale price was $25.49. When I got home I discovered my spouse had just purchased acid for $9.99 for two gallons from the grocery store. I went back to Leslies the next day to return their acid and the clerk said they didn't accept returns on chemicals. The box was unopened. Nothing was wrong with it. I called customer service. They were unhelpful. I will recommend to everyone I know to stay away from Leslie's. You've lost a customer for life! "
"I ordered a 40 lb bucket of chlorbrite chlorine powder and realized it's the incorrect item. I called customer service e next morning to cancel that item and order the correct product. I was told item was shipped via FedEx and tgey would call FedEx to stop the delivery and have it returned. I get a call back saying they now cannot call FedEx for whatever reasons and I'm stuck with this product as it's non returnable. This is horrible customer service and no help at all. This was last time I'm going to buy from Leslies. Been their customer for over 20 years yet they don't appreciate loyalty."
