"After doing my homework and comparing the specs and prices of Alienware, Voodo, etc., I bought a 15" Hornet from Lethalpc back in October 2003. Since then, I could not be more pleased with its performance.

Lethal shipped my pc within a few days after I placed the order, just as they said they would.

Though they made an error (it shipped with the wrong hard drive installed), the problem was corrected immediately. The correct hard drive was sent, along with clear instructions on how to swap it out and preserve any data I had already loaded in. They also paid for the return of the old hard drive.

In all my dealings with Lethal, they have been courteous, helpful, and - most important - they do what they say they are going to do. I would buy from them again, and recommend them unreservedly.

"The computer arrived at the expected time and was built solidly. The only problem was a loose IDE cable which was quickly diagnosed after opening up the machine. Computer ran beautifully on first boot and hasn't had any major problems since. "This is my first machine from Lethal PC, and I must say, it won't be my last! For my particular application, this machine far surpasses my expectations. I use 3D Cad programs for my engineering projects, and Adobe and Macromedia products in my web design and management projects. In addition to a full complement of other office softwares. Not the usual home user. The machine I chose was more than I was used to using, and now I am so glad I chose the upgrades I did. I just couldn't find a machine with this much power for the price I paid. Bill and his staff were absolutely the BEST in explaining to me in plain terms the benefits and downsides of any of my configuration choices. I called Bill on a couple of occasions during the "build" stage with a couple of configuration questions, and found him to be MORE than accomodating in taking the time to answer my "simple" questions. I fully realize that it would have been VERY easy to just fluff me off with a generic answer that would probably answer the question. But he went the extra mile in explaining the reasoning behind the answers so I would have the benefit of being a customer that was just a little bit more educated and MUCH more satisfied! In my asking people what they thought of a vendor, the most important question I could EVER ask is, "would you buy from them again?" In this case, my answer is a resounding YES! "Where do I begin? I purchased my system from NexGen just prior to the merger with LethalPC. The product was delivered by UPS in less than ideal conditions. I got on the phone with Bill, sent the machine back and waited nervously. When I got the machine back, UPS had done its damage ... AGAIN! So I sent the machine back.

I had ordered MS Works 2002 Office Suite pre-installed and when I received the computer I had problems with the software program.

Rather than involving Lethal PC, I first tried to get free MS support only to find out that because I had purchased the software suite from an authorized reseller [Lethal PC], I was not eligible for free support.

I then called Lethal PC, spoke to Bill, who after initially saying he could not support the product, assured me he would call me back - that he was busy at the time. I had no reason to think he would not do as he said, as he had always returned my calls [and emails] promptly. Another phonecall went unanswered as well as two direct emails to Bills email address. More than one month later, it's obvious that I won't be hearing from him to try to work out an equitable solution to my problem.

If I had known [presale] that he could not support MS products, I would have purchased the software from a reseller who could provide that support. It's as simple as that.

At this point, my previous positive experiences notwithstanding, I could not recommend this company to a friend or acquaintence, not because they do not offer support for the software product I needed support for but rather for the shoddy customer service and avoidance tactics I experienced post sale."
