"I ordered my replacement filters on May 8 at the tune of $334.79. I heard nothing and called on July 9th and was told I would receive a tracking number the next week. I have called 4 times now, and on today's call was told they still don't have an estimated date of arrival. In fact, Cami said, "I'm not sure, I just answer the phones". Yet, she was the one to whom I was told to speak to get an answer about where my filters were. Today is August 26. It has been three and a half months with them keeping my money, and (by the way) the Life Ionizer is not working since the filters need replaced. Therefore, I have more money **** doing nothing. There way zero compassion or caring on the phone call. More "**** for you...this is what you can expect" attitude. I would highly recommend going with Kangen vs. Life Ionizer as I know several people that have them and have zero issues getting replacement filters or parts. The taste and performance are very similar. "
"After researching several different brands of Ionizers , Life Ionizers came out on top by far as the highest in quality , level of Ionization , customer service , the number of product levels to suit everybody's budget and who could forget the life time warranty . I purchased the MXL-13 under counter and have been drinking alkaline water for about 10 months and I definitely have noticed an improvement in my over all health and well being especially with my acid reflux . "#1 reason for our Next Generation M7 was for my family. AR and Bone Cancer is very hard on the body. Since our bodies contain 60% water, WATER is the most essential part of our being. It was hard to see family members suffer aches and pain on a daily basis. The purchase of our water system was a no brainer. Knowing that clean and safe water could help with inflammation, aches, pain and so much more, was helpful while medication was given. The machine was not considered a miracle solver, but it was easy on the body, gentle to the organs and relief to the soul. It's unfortunate that our ocean and well waters has become a commodity, used and abused, most importantly contaminated. Our M7 has become one of our safety nets for our family. Since the machine provides all sorts of ways to use, it IS part of our daily health regimen. I'm old fashion and proud of it. When it comes to Customer Service, I pick up the phone and call Life Ionizer and place orders, or if I don't understand something on my invoice, or have a question, whatever it is, they've been very good at listening and helping. Patience and Understanding works very well when you need to get something across OR even educate each other. I highly recommend Life Ionizer's machines. If you still have doubts, do your own homework and check around. See if you can find a machine that does so much more than offer just drinking water."

"5 years ago I bought a Tyent 9090 turbo and was pleased with the performance of the machine for about 15 months and then things started to go wrong with it. Last fall I decided that I'd had enough with the performance of the Tyent and started researching Ionizer machines (again). I decided to go with the Life MXL-15 because of the performance and cost of the machine. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the machine and, customer service. So far I've had no issues with the machine and my wife and I love the way our water tastes and how it makes us feel. I've had no issues with any of the technical advisers and they have returned my calls within an acceptable time frame. I recommend this brand of machine to anyone who is looking for a value added price. "
"I am only giving Life Ionizers a star because I need to click a star to write a review. The company deserves no stars at all. I was scammed by them and have been treated appallingly. I have reported Life Ionizers UK to Trading Standards UK and am in the process of trying to receive a full refund from them for 3 counts of breach of contract.
I purchased an MXL - 9 water ionizer from the UK branch of Life Ionizers at the end of October 2017. I was misinformed about the functions of the machine before I purchased it. I was buying it for the 2.5 ph water as much as for the alkaline water. According to the salesman I spoke to, along with the information on the website and in the manual, the water ionizer was supposed to produce water from ph 2 - 11.5/12. It was only once I received the machine that I realised that I had been misinformed, because the lowest acidic water produced is ph3. I wouldn´t have purchased the machine had I known this.
The water ionizer arrived a few weeks later with no pre-filters. I had to call them up and then wait several weeks for a filter to arrive. I had paid for 2 filters, so wasn´t happy when I only received one, but was assured that it was safe to set the machine up with just the one filter. I'm very sensitive to chemicals and got sick for the two days that I used the machine; the water still tasted like tap water and was clearly full of chemicals. This was in mid-December 2017.
I was promised a second pre-filter that never arrived. By mid- January 2018 I lodged a formal complaint to the company requesting a full refund. By this stage, with a heavy heart, I had had to acknowledge that I´d been scammed. The machine didn´t produce 2.5 ph water as I´d been assured and it became clear to me that no water report had been done, hence why no pre-filters were sent out. It was the fact that Life Ionizers (supposedly) carried out a water analysis and provided customised filters that had convinced me to purchase the MXL - 9 in the first place.
I spoke to somebody at the UK branch who admitted to me that I was right - that no water report had been carried out (yet I had received an email from the salesman the day I purchased the ioniser telling me that his ´technical person´was in the process of carrying out the water report. This was just one untruth in a long string of untruths). The salesman should have done the water report himself, but apparently had chosen not to. I was given more information about how the UK branch of Life Ionizers was run and have since reported this information to Trading Standards. I was right that the pre-filters couldn't be sent out with the ioniser because the water report hadn't been carried out. The one filter I received of the two that I´d paid for was simply chosen randomly.
To cut a very long story short, since my request for a full refund in mid- January, most of my emails and all of my calls to Life Ionizers have been ignored. Literally, they wouldn't pick up the phone when I called and wouldn't respond to my messages. I took it upon myself to get in touch with Life Ionizers USA and after several calls/emails the lady in charge of the UK office got in touch. She ignored most of my emails, addressed none of my concerns, promised me a full refund, then changed her mind. Life Ionizers hasn't denied breach of contract, which must be why they originally offered me a full refund. I emailed a manager and the CEO several times, informing them of the facts and asking to lodge a formal complaint against the salesman in the UK who had sold me the ioniser and the lady in charge of the UK office, for their refusal to deal with the matter and the manner in which I had been treated. I offered to fill in the necessary paperwork etc. and also offered to share information I knew about how the UK office was run, that water reports aren't carried out etc. I received no response. I've never complained about a company or any employees in my entire life. I guess there's always a first time. But Life Ionizers have never allowed me a voice and have just ignored my complaints.
Sorry to bore you with the details. There's a lot more I could say, but I'm sure everybody reading this review gets the picture. I'm working with my bank and an ombudsman to try and get my money back. I´ll persist until I do so. I also feel I have an obligation to share my experience so that others aren´t scammed the way I was. Please don´t waste your money on this company. There are many other reputable companies that sell water ionizers at a competitive price. I would also urge those who've been scammed like me to complain about this officially, as hopefully the company will then be investigated and held accountable. "

alkaline this machine certainly helps towards that goal.
I have experienced difficulty in the past purchasing cartridges
but after talking to Nick hopefully things will improved on that front"
