"Used them to purchase items through Walmart. Days after the order was placed they canceled it, and misrepresented the reason as I had requested the cancelation. Total waste of my time, and now I don't have the items I could have purchased in time somewhere else. Brooklyn, NY. Wish I'd seen that before."
"I asked for an item I ordered to be cancelled. They replied that the order could not be cancelled as it had already shipped. When I checked the shipping information it had not shipped, a shipping label had been created....6 hours after I sent the email requesting cancellation. After back and forth emails I decided to check lifeandhome reviews. I should have done that first. The very first review I read was about this same issue. Integrity and honesty is number one dealing with any business. This one lacks both. You can find what you need in a thousand other companies, skip ordering from this one. "
"I will never deal with this abysmal company ever again. I try to use credible reputable companies when ordering.
I ordered a $60 plus kitchen stool/ladder. I discovered a few hours later that they charged $60 plus just to ship. I immediately tried to cancel with no success. They pretty much said it was already shipped and we can't do anything about it. They did not offer any process to remediate the situation. In my words they pretty much said, "Too bad. It is on it's way and there is nothing we can do".
I called FedEx today and asked them not to deliver the item to me. I asked them to return it to sender, LifeandHome. FedEx agreed to do so with no questions asked. I checked the FedEx website and sure enough, they stated it is being returned to sender!!
After all this, I searched online for reviews of this company. I should have done that in the first place and never would have ordered from them. There are lots of 1 star reviews.

"They offered a 3 pack of solar garden stakes (as pictured) in assorted colors. What I received was ONE stake that didn't even include the STAKE!!! I emailed them and they replied that the item is sold without a stake, despite the fact they call them stakes. Then in another email said that assorted colors means you get one of the color of their choice! They are dishonest liars with poor customer service. I would suggest that you send your business anywhere else. "

"Do not use this company for anything. Complete fraud company I ordered from them and after they canceled my order I noticed no one refunded me. Hindu customer service rep was rude and called me a liar. Stated he refunded me but I did not see it on my paypal. Hindu then got even more ruder and called me a liar and need to get on a 3 way line with paypal. I told him numerous times I dont have a 3 way line. Had to put my husband on the phone because this useless hindu was treating me badly on the phone. Come face me in person hindu lets see how brave you really are. No one was refunding me at all until I started to write bad reviews and report to BBB. Some lady reported this and they refunded me that day. Took over a week of arguing to get my money back. Funny thing is you canceled my order and still wanted to keep the money. Hindu learn some manners and treat customers with respect"
"FYI, these guys refuse to post bad product reviews. I ordered and received a product from them which did not last and was substandard. I posted a review of the product well over a month ago and it has not appeared on the site. I contacted customer service about it and received an email back from them asking for my order number. That is immaterial and did not answer my question, which was "do you post bad reviews of the products that you sell?" My review was respectful and honest. I would not trust these guys or anything they sell from now on. They intentionally deceive at least by omission"
"Home page proclamation of free shipping for orders over $45 is phony. I placed the order anyway just to get the hard to find .016" flashing but the actual thickness was .0102". I did get a refund for the flashing but not for it's shipment."
"I ordered a couple of sleds from lifeandhome.com and the experience was a good one. The website was well done, there were follow up emails, there was always a popup asking if I needed any help with anything when visiting the site. The only issue I had is that the confirmation with the tracking number said it was being shipped via USPS and it was actually FedEx. But the 4-14 day window they gave ended up being just 5 days from the order."
