"I phoned in to discuss my non-functioning lift chair. I thought it needed a replacement motor. However, the man I spoke with diagnosed the problem being with the controller. I purchased the new controller and while installing it saw that somehow the wires from the controller to the motor had been pinched by the movement of the chair. Installed the new controller with wire in such a way that the same problem could not occur again, and the chair worked flawlessly.
