"This was my second order to Light Bulb Emporium. My first order (two years ago)was shipped in two parts, but was shipped in a timely manner, as was confirmed by a friendly customer service representative. This order also started as a segmented order, in that the first bulbs were shipped promptly. After waiting another week, I attempted to call customer service, but was repeatedly encouraged to use email. I sent several status emails within a two week period, without a response. I finally threatened to dispute the credit card, and they finally with a "Eight day - On back order" routine. It appears the company is entering bankruptcy, or under a new corrupt management. As of today, my order has not been completed. Low prices are of no consequence, when their products aren't in stock. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
EDIT: After two months, they still have failed to complete the order. My only recourse was to dispute the incomplete merchandise charges to my credit card lender.

"LightBulbEmporium sent me wrong number of wrong bulbs. In addition to that, what I paid for the order was more than total cost of what I received from them. Customer service representative initially apologized and said that correct bulbs are on backorder, but they will be shipped next week. It was one month ago. Since then LightBulbEmporium stopped answering phone calls and replying emails. It looks to me like a plain rip-off. Buyer, be beware of LightBulbEmporium!

"Ordered 2 lightbulbs in December 2012. They shipped one of them, and the other one was backordered, which they did not even bother to send me an e-mail telling about that. Had to call them in January 2013 to learn about the backorder.
In March 2013, still have not received the bulb, and wrote them an e-mail asking about the status and telling them to refund my money for the unshipped bulb if it is still unavailable. No response for a whole month. Calling their 888 number always takes you to voice message asking to e-mail customer support !
After I sent a frustrated e-mail in April, telling about my disappointment and that I would leave negative feedbacks if I don't hear from them, finally got a reply from Mike telling they are sorry for the delay and that they will have the refund posted THAT DAY. Mike even had a direct phone # in his email - Wow!
Waited a week to give them enough time to post the refund ... still no refund to my credit account. Wrote another e-mail to Mike. Surprisingly he responded the same day, saying "A refund check was issued because the authorization had expired".
I though OK, let's wait for the check. Waited for 2 weeks - No check.
Send an e-mail to Mike in May, asking to reply with the status, and re-issue another one making sure correct address is used.
This time waited for 2 weeks and no response from Mike.
Then forwarded my last e-mail to Mike again as well as copied to the main customer service e-mail. In the meantime, tried calling the 888 number at different times of day - in vein - no one ever picks up and it always goes to the message telling to e-mail them.
After waiting for another week or more, decided to send the last attempt e-mail telling them if I don't hear from them, I would take appropriate actions. Last e-mail went out in the end of May. Of course I did not receive any replies from them ... but, I have already contacted my credit card bank, disputed the charge, got my money back. And now I am making sure to share my experience and warn others NO TO SHOP in this website at all.
There are many other, honest lightbulb sellers on the internet, with great customer service and prices.

"ordered a couple of PAR LED floodlights, about $1000 total. the order was received in reasonable time without problems. shipping charge was very reasonable, less than it actually cost to ship i am sure.

in short we would order from them again without too much worry.

"Ordered item on May 17, checked out through google checkout and was charged. No communication after that. Asked on May 31 for status update. Response came 7 days later. The response said I'd have my order within 7 days. It's July 2 and still no order nor order update. Called them up and got a fairly rough woman on the phone who said she'd cancel my order but that if I was charged I'd have to take it up with Google checkout. Online vendors like this is what makes buying online a pain. I'd avoid these guys. "

"I ordered about $35 worth of items on 1/5/12. It is now 2/8/12 and I still have not received my full order although they have shipped packages 3 times to my house. They cannot get the order right and their customer service reps are surly and quite rude. I would never ever order from this company again and would advise anyone else from doing so. The cheap prices are not worth the headaches"

"I ordered $40 worth of light bulbs on Dec. 30. It's now Jan. 10 and the order still shows "Order Processing" status online and no one answers their 888 phone number at 4pm (when they say call 9-7pm). They have ignored my e-mail, and at this point, I don't care if it's just poor communications and I eventually get the bulbs--I'll never do business with this outfit again."

"Purchased 2 cases of light bulbs that were not as stated. Have been trying to contact lightbulbemporium.com to get a RMA code to return. They do not answer phone. Message on phone is to contact customer service by email. Wrote them 2 emails and keep receiving an automated email telling me that someone will contact me shortly. It has been 2 weeks. "This was just an all around terrible experience.

I placed an order online and then called to verify that it was placed. The customer service rep told me it would arrive in a week. A week passed and nothing came so I called again. They told me that the item was lost by the carrier (code for oops! we haven't shipped it out yet!) and that they would ship it out "again" that day. I requested that the shipping be expedited and was told it would be shipped priority. The next day, I tracked the order online and it still had not been shipped. I called customer service and they told me that it would for sure be shipped out that day and promised it would be sent priority.

The item just arrived today, and apparently it was shipped out May 17th. Why didn't the second person I talked to tell me it shipped out the day before? Why didn't their online tracking system tell me that the order was shipped? They obviously have a really messed up tracking system and very misinformed customer service agents. They wasted over an hour of my time trying to track down a package that had apparently already shipped (but shipped a week late).

Frustrating experience. Will never shop here again.
