"I purchased a Silver Lighter from this company and had it engraved. When I received the lighter the engraving was wrong in one spot. I Emailed the company and told them the problem. I had called but when they close there is no answering machine. My Email was answered the next day to send the lighter in and they would fix it. I sent it back insured. $11.75 postage. I called several days later and asked them if they had received the lighter. They said they had but the mistake couldn't be fixed. They didn't have another lighter but would order one from Zippo. I called them several days later and they said that the lighter was on back order at Zippo. Almost three weeks had passed and they had charged my visa $215.85 so I called my credit card Citi Visa and recorded a dispute on the charge. I called them today 6-13-07. They told me they that when they had received the letter from Citi Visa their business with me was over. They said my scam didn't work. Ha! I told them that it had been almost a month since my order and all communication was by me calling. Not them notifing me. That I had been told several different delivery dates and had not been told that Zippo had it on back order. To make a long story short. I did not scam them. They never told me the status of my order unless I called them. They gave me several different delivery dates with no appology or excuse. My Visa all this time was charged $215.85. All they had to do was engrave the lighter send it to me and inform Citi Visa of what they had done. Their choice was to say to me that my scam didn't work and cancell the order.
Do not patronize this company. It is not worth the trouble. There are many reputable lighter companys out there. Since 1999 I have been buying on the Internet. This is the first problem I have had. "
