"Quick and simple to select and order"

"Appreciated Becca's assistance in selecting and ordering two floor lamps.
Once the lamps came, I was disappointed with the quality of the finish on the bases of the lamps. They were roughly done with polishing markings that were uneven and went in different directions.
The description of the lamps said that it would take a 150 watt bulb. We found that the harp had to be removed and replaced when the 150 watt bulb was installed. In other words, a 150 watt bulb is too big to screw in without removing the harp.
We also found that the high/low switch feature does not work with a 150 LED bulb. When using a LED bulb, the high setting works, but the low setting flickers. I was told by my electrician that this is consistent with LED bulbs not on a three way switch. He said that it would have worked with the older incandescent bulbs. We are paying for a local lighting store to replace the high/low switch with a three way switch which will work with an LED bulb.
In conclusion, the style of the floor lamp is good and warrants the extra cost to accommodate a 150 LED bulb. Regarding the base -- it will be out of sight, behind the furniture, so I can live with it.
