"They lie about items being in stock. They don't accept credit cards so you have to use PayPal or another method that is less convenient. They responded and "refunded" my money to PayPal. PayPal placed a FIFTEEN WORK DAY temporary hold on the refund. I can't get it back for almost a month! These guys lied about stock. They continued to lie about my part being in stock. My money is stuck with PayPal and I can't buy another item until it is released. So think long and hard about buying from them or using PayPal. I'll never buy from Linke Computer again and never use PayPal."
"Placed an order for a NZXT IU01 USB Internal Header Expansion module on the 10th September. Price was the cheapest available (Either in the UK or otherwise) with cheaper shipping and the only company that had any stock (Spoke directly with NZXT who stated that stock wasn't due into the UK until the end of September). The company is based in Hong Kong, however we regularly order stock from the far east as a large amount of computer parts are manufactured there and ordering from there tends to cut out the middle man.
The morning after the order was placed the status was changed to dispatched and we'd receieved a paypal credit for the majority of the delivery charge which was a pleasant suprise. Delivery from Hong Kong to the UK is typically 10-14 days on average, the part arrived this morning (18th) just 8 days later. Very happy with delivery time. Item arrived with no damage what so ever and item worked perfectly.
A well run, honest company who I will have no trouble trading with again in the future. I was slightly concerned after reading previous reviews about long delivery times and long waits before dispatch, however I experienced none of these. Very happy overall.
To the individual who stated that it was very difficult to tell it was a Hong Kong company, didn't the prices in $HK give it away? or the contact address being in Hong Kong? Maybe a site-redesign has taken place in the meantime, however there was no question when I ordered (sept 2010).
Highly recommended, I'd have no question over using these guys again, both for my own computer parts, and for our customers."
"Perfect for non-US purchases. I ordered an e-book reader from here because of 2 reasons - 1) Best Price 2) Cheapest shipping. I live in Dubai so ordering from US stores would have cost me $120 in shipping. From Hong-Kong it cost only $11.
The website says that product will ship in 3 days but mine took 20 days. I don't blame Linke though, because I can understand that they have to place the order with the manufacturer first and and the product takes time to travel from the manufacturer to the shop. The blame for long waiting lies with international-shipping regulations. The customer service was very helpful and prompt. There was a bit lost in translation but better than expected. Product arrived and looks great. I am very happy with the purchase and I'll definitely shop here again. If you are looking for electronics and you don't live in the US, Linke is the place to go. If they get more orders it would probably be easier to ship quicker.

"I purchased a fan controller for my new computer on 07/06/10 from LinkeComputer. I never received any shipping information or anything. The website just says that my order was "pending." Fast forward to 07/13/10 when I emailed LinkeComputer's tech support because I still had no shipping information. Half a day later, I got a reply that said that the item was backordered (despite the fact that it said it was in stock on the website) and would ship as soon as it became available. This is truly deceptive. Another deceptive thing is that this company is located in Hong Kong, though you really have to search their website for evidence of this. Needless to say, I canceled the order and purchased it from a North American retailer for the same price. It is very unlikely that I will ever do business with this company again, though to their credit they were very prompt in refunding my money."
"I placed an order online early on Wednesday morning, for two pairs of Kingston server RAM. The order process was smooth, the shipping cost was reasonable, and the price was MUCH lower than other stores. I received an order confirmation immediately.
Early on Friday morning, I received a shipping notification and FedEx tracking number by email. The RAM arrived intact the following Wednesday. It was shipped from Washington state.
Based on this experience I recommend this store and would order from them again."
"This website is not operating with full honesty they sold me a hard drive and it took 24 days to arrive and when it finally arrived it was very poorly packaged it was loose inside the box which was not adaquate for shipping an item of the weight of this hard drive. When I contacted them all I got was contact your local post I tried to use the tracking number the USPS website did not recognise it. I looked online since my purchase and the same hadr drive is available for less and is not comming from Hong Kong. Linke Computer did not indicate up front that shipping was from Hong Kong and takes up to fourteen days never mind taking 24 days. Since it arrived today I will find out later if it is damadged. Do not trust this site just because they seem to have the best price. You can get a very good price on an expensive shade tree but you have to wait twenty years for the shade..."

"I hesitated to buy from Linke Computer because it is based in Hong Kong and I live in the Midwest U.S. However, I received my hard-to-find Microsoft Habu mouse and Reclusa keyboard within a week of ordering (shipped from Washington state) and at a price comparable to MSRP. I initially didn't receive tracking info, but e-mailed a representative and received a response within 24 hours. Based on this experience, I'd buy from Linke Computer again."
"I was hesitant about ordering from Linke Computer Ltd but, after scouring the Internet for a Scythe Mugen 2 CPU Heatsink, they were about the only one that had it in stock for a reasonable price so I decided to take a chance.
As sidian stated, their website is up to date with stock. Others had shown the item was in stock but when I got to checkout, it was not in stock ... a waste of my time.
As for communication, I was notified when I was charged, Tue 2/23, and when the order was shipped Wed 2/24 (however, in their defense, I probably placed the order while they were closed and they sent it at 12:03 that night but the same day their time). I was expecting 7 business days at least but got it the following Monday. Not too shabby from a company based in HongKong.
Overall, great price ... good delivery ... excellant experience! I won't hesitate to by from them again in the future."
"I ordered an Intel X18-M 160GB Gen 2 SSD HDD from Linke Computer. I was happy with the great price and timely arrival of my order and had to give them a proper review.
First and most importantly, I received the item in a very timely manner and in a well packed shipping box.
Second, their website has real-time stock update. Their total number of the above HDD dropped by one after I placed my order.
Third, yes, they do need to either fix or implement an auto-notification system for when an order ships. HOWEVER, unlike a previous reviewer, I do not feel this is grounds to give them a one star rating. That user DID receive his item in safe and working condition.
Fourth, their shipping information page clearly state how many days orders usually ship. You also need to take into account the time-zone difference of their Hong Kong location.
Fifth, I believe Linke Computers either has sister companies or warehouses located around the globe, because my SDD HDD originated from a Canadian warehouse.
Overall, I am happy to have given this company a chance to impress me and impressed I am. Having received a genuine item worth half a grand, I say this is a trustworthy online retailer."

When it did ship I was not issued a tracking number until I emailed. Also they use FedEX ground once the package is in US (they are in Hong Kong). Cheap, slow, and decent response time."
"I recently bought a pair of Mushkin Black line ram from compterlimited and so far I am quite happy with this company. Their prices were actually better than newegg.com for me, even including shipping and handling. Newegg and a lot of other places in the mainland USA have a tendency to rip off its citizens living in Hawaii and Alaska for shipping, which is wrong. I ordered the same thing from computerlimited which is based in china, that is much farther away from Hawaii than the USA, yet I get reasonable shipping, about 8.99 opposed to over $20.00. So I do highly recommend this company. Although china postal service cold work on expediency of there shipping. They received the package on the 1st of February and didn't ship it out until the 7th, which kind of upset me, I had to remind the post of my package before they shipped it.
