"Lithia provides really nice discounts on their oem parts and has sales occassionally and that is appreciated.
The only complaint I have with Lithia specifically is that sometimes orders seem to take much longer than expected. It might be due to parts just not coming in, but it feels at times that the orders aren't placed timely and when the parts do arrive, it can be days or longer before I am notified. Often if I call, they will say the parts just came in. I order from them quite a bit due to the prices and the sales they periodically have so this is based on quite a few orders over a period of time.
Not as a criticism of Lithia but the Toyota parts website is also pretty bad at times. If you search for a part by name, you get way too many broad results and if you search for a part number pulled from another site due to the results list being so long, it will say it can't guarantee it will fit. It is also hard because there are so many parts listed for each part. For example, if you try to order brakes for a 2008 Land Cruiser, there are literally 5 options with no description saying what is different between each of them. Ceramic, organic, semi-metallic? It won't say. You have to go elsewhere and verify what you are getting."

"Ordered parts on 7-1-24. Called on 7-17-24 to see where they are. Was told they “shipped”. It’s now 7-30-24 and the only communication I’ve gotten from you is this survey—you have $700 of my money but no parts a month later."

"Parts counter guy told me the oil filters I ordered online YZZ-D3 weren’t in stock and that they in fact didn’t have any screw on filters in stock. They ordered them in for any in house oil change. Incredible, the most common in oil filter known to Toyota trucks and they had none even though online they showed in stock. So I left - then 5 miles down the road he called me back and lo and behold they had them. Parts guy was young, and ignorant of Toyotas in general. He was rude, and seemingly uninterested doing anything but the minimum to get me down the road. The reason I ordered the parts online was to avoid having to deal with this very situation.
Unfortunately we don’t have options in Billings and the only game in town can be this bad and still get business."
