"Well I've sent 3 emails in 8 days with a simple question regarding their one-year plan, and haven't received ONE reply.

Seeing as they are the only company out there offering UNLIMITED storage for a great price, combined with what seems to be their non-existent support, makes you seriously wonder how reliable they are, and how safe your data is.

If I ever hear from them, hopefully I can come back and give a positive update. But for now....

Update March 2011 - Got a reply from a service rep. The person to whom my ticket was assigned was later not with the company and the service rep was just given my ticket to handle. So my email WAS finally answered.

The LiveDrive service is not bad so far, a much better user-interface than MiMedia by far. Price is right and so is the space (unlimited). However, be prepared for a LONG time to get all those gigs to get backed up. Upload speeds are ALWAYS much slower than d/l speeds, no matter who u use. That's just your internet connection. Just be aware that it can several days or weeks to backup small to medium amount of data. (I'd say about 5 days for 20GB???

Overall LiveDrive is not to bad for my first online backup experience. User interface is pretty good...not perfect but better than MiMedia for sure. Notice that they are in London, England...if that makes any difference to you. (I'm in the States.)"
