"I purchased an additional telephoto lens for my digital camera from LoftyNotion.com. I am trying to return the product thru their RMA process but their customer service is NON-EXISTANT! I have sent them 3 separate emails on top of their RMA form which I filled out on their website with NO RESPONSE whatsoever from this vendor. All of their phone numbers have been disconnected which leads me to believe that they went out of business shortly after I purchased this item.

AS THEIR WEBSITE IS STILL UP, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS VENDOR OR YOU MAY BE STUCK WITH AN ITEM YOU CANNOT RETURN!

"Ordered a univesal remote control because their price was the best on the web (other than a couple of place I'd never buy from). Ordered it on Oct. 12 and received e-mail confirmation. It shipped on the 15th and arrived 2 days later, well-packaged and brand new. The price I paid was about 60% what the local electronics stores charge and shipping wasn't inflated at all. I'd definitely shop with this company again in the future.

"This must be a relatively new online store. I took a chance with them and ordered a camcorder. After searching pricegrabber, yahoo, and several other comparison services, I couldn't find the price i wanted from a "reliable" retailer. Found Lofynotion.com through google's beta test shopping search engine, froogle.com. I wrote to Lofty's customer service to insure stock was available, they wrote back within about 6 hours with confirmation. The item was priced $60 less than the lowest price listed on pricegrabber. I searched the web for anything about the company but found nothing really, only about 5 or 6 positive reviews at bizrate. Store web design is clean and clear and easy to navigate, and shipping charges are very fair ($20 for UPS 2nd Day air on the camcorder). I received immediate order confirmation via email. I'll update again once my order ships, which is supposed to happen today. I've heard a lot of horror stories about ordering camcorders and getting forced to buy accessories and stuff. Nothing like that here.

UPDATE, 6/14/03

I received a UPS shipping notice via email yesterday evening, the same day I ordered the camcorder. I had it shipped 3 Day Select. Will update when item arrives. So far, so good. Very pleased with my shopping experience with this unknown store!

UPDATE 6/17/03

Well, the item arrived one day early and looks in perfect condition. I must say, I was surprised with how fast I got the order and how painless the process was. I checked pricegrabber.com again and the price I got it for is still less than the lowest price on there. The price is dropping on it so it will probably even out soon. And FYI, the camcorder I ordered was the PV-GS70.

I will certainly be ordering from these guys again if I need a product that they carry.
