"Even before I posted this review I tried to contact LDC via phone and through the Google Wallet Review “Contact Seller” function to discuss my concerns and experience but they failed to respond.
So my review Fantastic website and extensive range of products. However, LDC incorrectly fulfilled my order and they never responded to my e-mails or answered the phone. I realised that this was over the Christmas period so I waited until the first week of the New Year and tried again. After multiple attempts to contact them to resolve the issue, I returned the goods via ParcelForce - Tracked service (at a cost £19.30) requesting a full refund. Two days later, I received a parcel from LDC which I was not expecting as I have completed their Returns form requesting a full refund. This parcel contained one bed and one cushion that had not been ordered. Again, I tried to contact them via phone and e-mail but as before they failed to return my e-mails / attempted calls (with the exception of the automated e-mail confirming receipt of my e-mail). I even wrote them a letter (which they never responded to). I returned the parcel again at a cost of £12.30 (Tracked). I received a refund of £77 for the two items but I am still out of pocket as the second package was not requested or wanted. So for £77 outlet, I have no dog beds and have spent £31.60 on returning the items because of their errors. I contacted them through Google Wallet before making this review and they never responded to that either. I will never use LDC again and would ensure that my friends and family are aware of my dire experience. LDC were quick to take money and they do provide a pleasant purchasing experience but this is where the pleasant experience ends and quality of service ceases. Although their prices were / are very competitive, if you look at the whole scenario, I would pay the £2-3 more at an alternative outlet and have done without issue so Dog is happy as am I. To sum up, I will not consider using LDC again in the future and would recommend that you consider this review before you make your own decision.
Sorry LDC you had multiple opportunities to demonstrate any level of Customer Service, which for your own reasons you chose not to.

Placed order, on September 29th 2012, for several items and waited.
And waited...waited...waited
It's now November 2nd 2012 and guess what?

Three emails unanswered, just a note on my order page saying, 'chasing for customer'...which they're obviously NOT doing.
Left message on their Facebook page asking why they were advertising when they couldn't complete an order.
Surprise, surprise, it was hastily removed!
Don't be fooled by The London Dog Company's blurb that they're, 'one of Britain's poshest dog boutiques'.
Their service, or rather, lack of it, is worst I've encountered in over twelve years of online buying.
Please, don't waste your time, and money trying to order from them.
They obviously don't want any business! Or, they're rip-off merchants!
Avoid these people like the plague.

I ordered ferret food acoming to 30kg and cost £10 to post. my shipping kept saying pending and i emailed twice with no reply, ring, never an answer. 7 working days after ordering i now says 5 days to get to me. "The worst customer service I think I have ever come across- I placed an order, which their website says should arrive within (a generous) 5-7 working days, 9 working days later my new puppy had arrived but the order hadn't so I called them to chase it, I should point out here I am always polite on the phone so I was not an angry customer causing a poor response. The woman I spoke to said she would chase it with Yodel and call me back, she offered no apology or anything to indicate she thought the time delay was a problem. Two days later I had had no phone call so I emailed them saying basically enough is enough, I need the supplies for my puppy so I have bought them elsewhere so please refund me in full.... again I got no reply. I tried calling about a week later and didn't get through so finally today nearly a month after the initial order I called and got through and told a man this story, he said we already refunded you and emailed you to say so, I had just done an email search to check I hadn't missed anything so asked him what date he thought he'd emailed and he gave me a date, but this was the date I first placed the order so i said that was unlikely, he then picked another random date, again I told him that was not the case as I had my inbox search open in front of me. At no point did he apologise and he was really curt on the phone, trying to be reasonable I said I would take a minute and log into my online banking and see if the refund had actually cleared, he said 'that's your best option' and hung up. It took me a minute to check and yes they had processed the refund, but as for everything else, fail, fail, fail. Avoid this company, if they are for London's Poshest then their definition of Posh must be that you'd need more money than sense to shop with them, so don't!"
"I am still waiting for my order, from over two weeks ago, but the customer login feature enables me to see that it has been despatched via royal mail. There is no other way of getting any information, I have sent a few emails, and received no response at all. I have tried calling numerous times and no one is there to answer the phone, a message just redirects you to send an email. They are a 'bit' cheaper than other online places, but their customer service and communication is absolutely shocking...I was starting to think they had gone bust and I had lost my money!! I will tell anyone that will listen to avoid this place. USELESS!!!"
