Because of the Supervisor (Preston)-(He, himself not aware of the return policy), I have lost pretty good amount of money and a bad attitude from their side as if I got it all for free. "I have taught for 32 years and the only staplers/fasteners that I use is Arrow. I own 7 fasteners
(2HD LG/2MD/3SM) all purchased at Lowe's. The 16ft section has all of the fasteners with the corresponding staples. The merchandising makes it very easy to purchase additional equipment."

09/02/2023 - Went to my local Lowe's in search of a new gas grill. Found a really nice Napolean grill that happened to be on sale. The guy in the grill department informed me that they are currently running a deal that gives free assembly AND free home delivery. He told me it could be delivered on Monday
(09/04/2023). This sold the deal as I was already going to be off of work on Monday due to it being Labor Day.
09/03/2023 - My DAD received a call from Lowe's stating that the grill would be delivered the next day (as originally scheduled) between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Notice that I said they call my dad. My dad and I have the same name, so they somehow mixed up the phone numbers. No worries...my dad relayed the message to me. I wasn't worried.
09/04/2023 - My wife and I hung around the house on this afternoon and waited for the grill to arrive between 2:00 and 4:00. At 4:00, there was no grill and there had been no phone call. I called Lowe's in search of information. I was informed that as of 8:45am that day, Lowe's had determined that they didn't have the grill in stock and would have to get one from the manufacturer. So, Lowe's knew at 8:45am, but nobody bothered to call me and tell me that the grill would no be arriving today.
The woman on the phone said that it was scheduled to be delivered on Friday. I also gave the woman on the phone MY phone number so that she could make the change and they would not call my dad.
09/05/2023 - My dad (yes, wrong number yet again) got a call from Lowe's to say that they got another grill and that it would be delivered the next day on 09/06/2023. OK great, that's not so bad. 15 minutes later, he got another call stating the exact same thing. My dad then gave them my number. An hour later, my dad (Yep, wrong number again), got a call from a woman stating that the grill they got was damaged and they would have to get another one from the manufacturer. However, she said that she was unable to get it for some reason and was going to have to cancel my order. She suggested I go back into my local store and reorder the grill again. She put a note under my name saying that I should receive a discount on the reorder.
I immediately headed up to my local Lowe's. Spoke to a very nice young lady there who was very apologetic and understanding of the situation. She informed me that they had the grill in stock there! Why the heck didn't they just send that one in the first place?? Anyway, it wasn't assembled at this time. So she contacted someone and told them that she needed an assembly to come in tomorrow (09/06/23) to assemble this grill for delivery on 09/07/2023. So I placed the reorder and she applied the discount. Still irritated, but the discount helped.
09/06/2023 - Got a call from the local Lowe's delivery department. He informed me that they didn't have an assembler today so they would not be able to deliver the grill the following day as promised. I just couldn't believe it!! This was the worst experience ever! I had no choice but to agree. The guy on the phone ASSURED me that the grill would be assembled on Thursday the 7th and delivered on Friday the 8th. He also assured me that I would be the first stop on Friday and I would have the grill by 8:00 or 8:30. I said OK and made arrangements to come in to work late on Friday in order to receive the grill.
09/08/2023 - 8:30am came and went. No phone call, no grill. I called the local store. Customer service answered. I asked for the delivery department. They transferred me to the self checkout person. What??!?! This person got me transferred to the delivery department. I spoke to the same person in the delivery department that I had spoken to the other day. He said they were short staffed because someone had some sort of emergency or something, but assured me they were loading the truck as we speak. An hour and a half later, the grill FINALLY arrived at 10:00am!!!

" I ordered window coverings from Lowes on 10-8-21 and it has been a disaster. I had over 30 windows and from the start everything was a disaster. Your installer took wrong measurements and your vendor (Bali) sent damaged blinds for many of the windows. I have gone back and forth with my local Lowes (Danbury, CT) for over a year to get all resolved and after over 5 trips to my home from the installer, I still have damaged blinds. This is totally unacceptable. One of the AM of the store gave me a 20% off discount in June which was nice but here we are in October and still not resolved. I visited the Danbury store this past Monday and Store manager was too busy to talk with me and never returned my call after one of the AMs assured me he would. I called your corporate office a few days ago asking for a DM and was assured I would be called within 24 hours and that did not happen. Your customer service is terrible. I am asking you what Lowes is going to do to take care of this after one year of many hours of my wasted time?!!! Maybe it is time to give all my business and encourage my friends to shop at Home Depot! "
"HORRIBLE! The way that the Sherman Lowe’s treats their customers is disgusting. My parents waited a long time to replace the floors in their home. They understood that flooring is one of the most important and expensive upgrades/replacements that you can perform in a house. They did their research. They searched locally and even a little further away. They wanted to get the best combination of price, service, and execution for their new flooring. They decided to go with the Lowe’s in Sherman (hindsight, right?).
They met with the flooring specialist, selected their flooring type and color, and scheduled their install. The installation was performed by a sub-contractor that works directly with Lowe’s. The installation was okay, not great, not bad. However, when the contractor finished, they left a complete disaster for my parents to either live in or clean up themselves. I’m not talking about a little dust; I’m talking about a thick film of dirt and grout dust. This is not an easy fix. You cannot sweep it up and normal mopping does not work either. My mother, bless her heart, has even tried getting down on her hands and knees to scrub and it’s ridiculously painstaking work that leaves her exhausted and in pain.
When they contacted Lowe’s to try to get some resolution, they were ignored. When they finally got someone to return their calls and tried to get Lowe’s to do the right thing, they were told that “it isn’t our problem”. How did it become ‘not their problem’? Lowe’s is responsible for the work that their sub-contractors perform or don’t perform. Now, my parents are currently sitting in a house that’s dirty and they are walking on plastic in order to not walk in the mess that the Lowe’s contractors left. I am beyond disgusted. Lowe’s should be ashamed. I hope this review helps other people with their decision of who to have replace their floors. DO NOT USE LOWE’S. They forget about you after you pay and they are not interested in customer satisfaction.

"I went into this store and purchased 6 base cabinets and counter tops to go with them. it was set for delivery on Wednesday. got the delivery confirmation the night before for noon to 5pm. Nothing showed up, no call or anything. so I call on Thursday and was told they have been having issues with third party delivery company...ok cool, it happens, then was told the earliest they could reschedule delivery was on Saturday, this is a business, we are not open on Saturday, but I said ok, please call me and confirm. I did not receive a call, but Friday night at after 9, I get antext confirmation for delivery on Saturday between 4pm and 8pm...really, we are a business, i call to ask if they could deliver earlier and was told no, the schedule was packed. I said ok. the next morning I get a call from the delivery driver at 930am saying he was 40 mins away, I had to stop what i was doing and rush to the office to receive the delivery. Well guess what, only 2 pieces of my order was delivered. At this point, I upset, I call and spoke with a manager, he had the delivery manager call me back, after a bit of back and forth, was set for delivery on Monday. got confirmation Sunday night for 10am to 2pm. Once again, no delivery, no call. I call the dispatch and was told my items were not available when the delivery showed up the load this morning. So back to the manager at lowes again, again they had a delivery manager call me back, a different one this time, and now supposedly, they are going to handle my delivery personally. I told them my office is open for 8 to noon and I expect my items, if they don't show up, i want a full refund.
this store is terrible, I have never had this much problems with any other store in my life. after this, i will never shop at lowes again, and anyone ask me, i will tell them to go to Home Depot."

"Lowes refused to give me a refund because I did not have a receipt. Reason for not having a receipt is because the cashier told me the receipt was emailed to my email account, and I verified the account was correct. Well, I never got the receipt, and when I told the store manager this, they told me "ole well". This was not my fault and strictly the fault of Lowes. My wife showed them the transaction on our bank account but didn't matter. I WILL NEVER GO TO LOWES AGAIN, AND I WILL SPREAD THIS STORY TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS NOT TO USE THEM. "I ordered several furnace pipe parts online at Lowes.com, no real problem there, they were shown "in stock". My local store is an hour away and I thought this would be more convenient. Wrong as it turns out. The problems start when you wonder when your order will ship. Checking your order number after 5 days, you see "in process" but no other info. There is no online customer support, not even email, you have to call an 800 number. You wait on hold for at least 30 minutes with a recording telling you, every 15 seconds, that help is coming "momentarily". The rep is polite, puts you on hold again, returns in 3 minutes and tells you your order has shipped but she is unable to provide a tracking number or tell you who is delivering it. You figure the order page will update in a day or so with this information but no, it still says "in process" and you have no idea what is going on with your order. You start to think about disputing the charge with your credit card company. You're sympathetic to the situation with coronavirus going on but this is a long-term programming issue with the website that is obviously not up with the times."

"I needed a spare screw for a fan at home and its cover was falling apart. they showed me exactly how to find the right threading and exact spare from their shelf of spares, and I was able to save the $60 fan with a $0.50 screw!"
"It was awful. My wife and I spent over 3 hours one Saturday attempting to purchase a hot water tank including installation. My wife bought the tank online with a lowes card. Lowes told her we had to come in to purchase installation. When we came in, Michael tried to help us, but he said he needed to cancel out the order she made online and start all over again and then add in the installation. For three hours, I sat and watched him make all the faces Tim Conway made on The Carol Burnett show as he struggled at the computer terminal. The computer was getting the best of him. My suspicions were confirmed when we received the first tank we ordered along with an invoice showing it was never canceled from the Lowes card. Michael told us we should hear from the installer in 48 hours. When we didn't hear from them, we called the store. The store connected me to the plumbers, and the lady on the other end informed me that I needed to answer questions about the size of my house, and afterward, she informed me that Michael didn't know what he was doing because he sold me the wrong sized tank. I didn't argue with the lady. I asked her how much more money she wanted, and she said I needed to get the next sized tank.
Okay. I'll get it......somewhere else. Very often, you will find people who want to exert their power, and they will do so with someone they believe is beneath them. I'm aware that there are recent changes in building codes, and they are there for safety reasons. I'm also aware that because some houses were built before those codes were put in place, previous homes are grandfathered in. In other words, nobody is required to rebuild a house to put in a tank that fits. There was no reason for the lady at Bynum plumbing to throw poor Micheal under the bus and refer to his lack of knowledge or familiarity with plumbing codes. People who work in Lowes or contract with Lowes should never infer to the public that other Lowes workers are incompetent."
