"My 8-year old was on Level 26 of Jurassic Park Builder, when he decided to start another game as a Guest. When he returned to his Level 26 game, all of his progress was deleted, and the game started from scratch.
This was highly upsetting to him and me, and he cried for hours.
After searching the Ludia Support page, they admit that this is a known issue:
"I have lost ALL my progress! What happened?
~
Some players have reported that they have lost levels all their progress after switching from a Facebook account to a Guest account and get back to their Facebook account. This issue has been found by our developers and will be fixed in a future update a soon as possible.
-August 20, 2012 -"
I find it unacceptable that Ludia would release a game with such a gaping hole in it. There was no warning in the game that leaving our current game for a new Guest game would result in the loss of all progress.
To make matters worse, I sent them a very detailed email FOUR TIMES to ****@**** as well as ****@****, and did not receive any response from them, not even an auto-responder email acknowledging that they even received my messages.
It is clear to me that Ludia may have great, compelling games, but they are severely lacking on the Customer Service side.

Update: After nearly three weeks of waiting to hear a response from Ludia, they apologized for the delay and loss of game. Further, they credited our account for the lost "dino bucks" and my son is happy once again."
