"My wife and I bought Flooring and Moisture barrier from LL flooring in San Marcos. We had a professional installer put the floor in. Under six months later the floor started failing in multiple places. After multiple attempts to speak with some at LL flooring we were finally told because they did not install it they would not back it. In addition the customer service person blamed us for the failure. Our contractor has down multiple flooring jobs and stated this was ABSOLUTELY a product failure. All we wanted from LL was a credit from them to replace the floor. NOPE, offered us a $200 credit!!! That's rite, we spent $1600 and they offered us $200! Look elsewhere with a company that will at least back the product. Now we are stuck with this floor can afford to do it twice. Thanks LL, great customer service!! And it's happening in multiple locations."
"I wish I would have read the reviews of LL Flooring before buying. It was the most horrible product I have ever installed. I’m not a flooring expert, but I’ve put down enough floors to know how to do it right. I had two friends that ARE flooring experts come look, and they couldn’t believe what they saw: Each piece of flooring basically shrunk and I ended up with small gaps between most of the pieces. The seams were extremely difficult to put together, and would routinely chip and crack during install. For the rest of the house I switch to a product from American Flooring instead, and it came out perfectly - not one issue. Easy to work with and beautiful.
LL Flooring just seems cheap right out of the box. The seams are brittle. It obviously doesn’t acclimatize, even after a week.
I opened a warranty request, but they told me that I obviously hadn’t read the warranty, which only covers SURFACE scratching. Wow. $2,000 wasted. I told them that I would leave a bad review on every site I could find and they really didn’t seem to care. I think they’re just a sinking ship and they know it.

"I installed vinyl plank from them in June 2021. After a few months, I noticed that some boards were shifting, but I attributed it to the weather changes and didn't think much about it. However, it just kept getting worse. I was talking to someone who owns a floor company and explained what was happening. He came over and took a look. In all of his years, he had never seen this. The individual boards were cupping and the joints between the boards were breaking. He said that if it is the fault of the manufacturer that the boards are defective, it is common practice that the company reimburse for the flooring and make things right. I would think that all companies would follow the same ethical business practices. Basically, if your product fails - you fix it. He advised me to reach out to the manufacturer (LL Flooring) and have them come take a look. I am in the middle of the process now, but was told up front that if they find that the flooring is defective, then they will only give me store credit for the flooring. They will not come and reinstall. First off, I honestly don't flooring from their company again - it is crap. Secondly, because their floor is defective, I am going to have to pay thousands out of my own pocket to have it ripped up and replaced. And, on top of this, I just got an email saying that I have to pay for and find a 3rd party inspector to report back to them. They won't even send an inspector to inspect their flooring. If the flooring is found to be defective, then they will reimburse me the cost of the inspection. I am struggling to make ends meet right now and for me to have to pay the upfront cost of an inspection of their faulty product is absolutely ridiculous. And, when they do find that their product is defective, I WILL STILL HAVE TO USE THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN AND BE OUT THOUSANDS for someone to come out and fix a problem that they created. In my opinion, this is just downright unethical and extremely poor company practices. I would highly recommend that YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY because of this type of thing. When something happens to your floor, you will have to use their crappy flooring again and pay thousands more to fix the problems they create. BUYER BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!"
"Everyone there is so nice, helpful and funny I recommend going there its the best place to buy flooring! Also there's good discounts and low prices! "
"The material we bought from them is falling and **** a part.
When we complain about the issues they didn't take any responsibility although when we bought the flooring they said we have 20 years warranty?!!! We are not happy with this company. We are going to take them to the courtroom. We are NOT RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. We were waiting almost a year for them to take an action, but unfortunately, they didn't, but we are going to take an action against them."
"Ordered pre-sealed hardwood flooring and installed without any problems. Two years went by and the finish started to peel off of the hardwood. Contacted customer service and they gave me a constant runaround. Their final decision was that the floors finish was peeling because of moisture in the crawlspace. Only thing is the flooring was installed on the third floor and there is no crawlspace in the house. They never came out and looked at it but just came up with a convenient reason in their world to not honor their lifetime warranty. Anybody can claim a lifetime warranty on their product when they know that they are not going to honor it. It’s very obvious from other reviews that the company has a corporate policy of double talk to customers regarding the warranty process. I have not seen a single positive review on their warranty service which tells you a lot about the culture and dishonesty of this company"
"They came out to do measurements and give a price for Installation I don't need the waterproofing They charge me for that even though I don't need it they charged me double charged for installation on several things the doorway strips and the quarter round laying of it and they charge me for the square footage plus extra for laying the quarter round and the in the doorway strips they are very expensive do not use this company they are ripping people off"
"This company has been a nightmare to work with since our project began. Our project started at the end of May and didn't "finish" if you can call it that until June 21st. We were told 1 to 2 days to complete it, but got stuck with incompetent contractors, a contractor that just left and quit the job without notice, dysfunctional product, not enough product ordered, and the biggest issue being treated awful by customer service and corporate. The only person that deserves any credit is the store manager who has done his best to make things right with what little power he seems to have. Moral of the story don't ever do business with this company if you want things made right. Mistakes happen I get that. We haven't asked for much and been more than patient. Number one rule in customer service: Your going to make mistakes, but make it right in the end and you will have a customer for life. This is why I will never do business with a large corporate company again because when things go wrong nothing gets done. "
"We purchased engineering bamboo flooring
and we are very dissatisfied with the quality of the product and the customer service we received.
First we tried to return some of the flooring we had left over since it was estimated that we purchased more than what we actually needed. We were told that we were 3 days late from when it was purchased so we couldn’t return it! They never looked at the date we actually received it instead of from the date we ordered!! And how convenient the manager wasn’t available when we called and asked to speak to him!!!!
Next we called corporate office and was told that they would call Williston office…. When they called manager wasn’t available again!
Corporate was to give us a return phone call once they were able reach manager,
But they never did!!!!
Now the flooring is cupping and we are stuck with a terrible floor product that was
A large expensive!!
Very very disappointed!!

"LLFlooring sold me 26 boxs of vinyl planks to do mine and my daughter's bedroom floors. Every plank was damaged, but my wonderful installers put in some serious sweat labor because they knew how much I was looking forward them. LLFlooring compensated me with 5 new boxes of the vinyl. What a joke!
I am a senior women with a disabled daughter and if they can do this to me, everyone beware of their shameful ethics.

"Did solid hardwood and LVP tile. Both jobs were total garbage.
The wood floors had about 20% broken pieces and the installation was, and still is a mess.
The LVP floors are just as bad, perhaps worse because the Corelux tiles they sell have weak snap together edges that will not lay flat even with OVER $5K in floor leveling.
They will have everything setup, materials delivered, and then they say pay IN FULL UP FRONT. This is not how home improvement projects are done - final 1/3 of the costs should be paid on completion. I know this but paid anyway and now have no power over them to come back and fix my floors - --------
THEY WILL NOT RETURN CALLS OR MAIL
Totally blow ya off.
Look at my purchase date - I gave them lots of time to make it right. They said they would and attempted a repair but went home at the end of the day and never came back leaving a partially finished job.
Use LL Flooring is you like to fight....everything might go right, but if there are any issues, they fail and run...with all your $.

"I would like to thank LLFlooring, Rays Flooring and Elton the installer for the fantastic job done with the beautiful flooring. The whole team was very professional. If you want flooring and a professional installation crew, LL Flooring is where I recommend you go. Very pleased with everything!"
"Bought Brazilizn Cherry, floor didn't hold up. All I asked for was how to repair finish issues. They said they had no idea. 100 year warranty my a***. Alway buy local, these guys are a rip off."
"I have been a contractor for 22years purchased some flooring installed in a customer's home 2 months later the customer calls and says the flooring is cracking and separating. The manager Nick at the Clinton township mi. store gave a return on the 6 boxes left over and half the cost of the flooring used. This was a move above and beyond to keep the customer happy "
"I had a small project of just 160 sq feet. I went to 3 different flooring stores to get estimates, I had to pay $25 for an estimate at Liquid Liquidators which I did not have to pay at the other stores. I would not have minded if the estimate was even close to the others but it was $749 higher than the $1000 that I got the job done for. You don't always get what you pay for. I will never go back or refer any of my friends to this flooring store. "
