"I don't normally post to review sites but I have to comment on the Service and Support of Malibal. I still can't believe it. Sent my Veda in for repair on a Monday and got it back in my hands working like new by the same Friday. I've never seen a company's service and support work that effectively/efficiently. Needless to say, the computer screams. I have dual ssd drives in raid 0 and for some reason one failed to boot, and the laptop's display stopped working. One 5 minute phone call for an RMA. "This is the absolute best laptop I have ever owned. I am not a gamer, I bought this machine for business use. The extreme power and speed of the Sartori allow me to open as many applications as I want with no issues, usually 10 or so consisting of two CRMs, Outlook, 3 or 4 trading screens, etc. The excellent graphics and large display come in handy when I am making presentations directly to a client.

"I bought the Nine X7200, and have had it for a couple weeks now. Over this time I have got to know it fairly well. Lemme start with the obvious facts. It is powerful - if you get the highest spec'd version you wont be able to find anything you cant run. It is heavy and large, battery life is about 20-60 minutes depending on what your doing and your power settings. Duh. Now for the more subtle qualities it has.

Contrary to some reviews, it does not have an overheating problem, this was one thing i was worried about when considering this laptop, but it wasn't an issue. I ran several benchmark tests, and it did get very hot, 80-100C, but you can keep it below 85 by simply propping up the back. Or if you want get a good laptop cooler. Basically, it does get hot after in use for hours, but never too hot. Another important thing for me was the quality/feel of the case. From the photos available I couldn't be sure exactly what it would be like, but it turned out to be very nice. The construction is very good, better than any laptop I've had the chance of personally testing. The feel is good, especially the keyboard, this has the first laptop keyboard that I actually like. Its not a standard setup, so know that, the keys are shifted from your normal laptop setup, but it works nicely. I bought mine without an operating system, and while I had a few issues installing my chosen OS's due to the specific hardware, these were nothing even a novice user couldn't overcome. The drivers that come with all work. One additional good thing is that the free carrying case that comes with is very nice, and while it barely fits the laptop, power brick and a mouse, it does indeed fit them. It has a shoulder strap but dont plan to use it, gets way too heavy too quickly, I use the case often, but always hand carrying. It's a nice leather bag, not much to say about it.

Overall this is a very nice laptop, and for what your getting, its the best deal I was able to find at the time. Especially if you get the pay with cash discount. Lastly, the one negative I have against the entire experience. Customer service. It wasn't a nightmare like some places, but I definitely wasn't happy with the way I was handled as a customer. When I had a few specific questions they were addressed well over they live chat service, but when conferming my order over the phone, my sales person was obviously in a bad mood and had no patience. I understand that some small error in miscommunication was mine, but when dealing with customers, you should always be polite, even more so since this is a rather large $ purchase. Aside from the average to below average customer service, I am very happy with this purchase. One week to build, and one week on ups ground.

I bought the Nine Series Model this is the best Laptop/Desktop I ever bought. This is my fourth build I have done and this is by far the best computer by far. My last build had an intel QX6800 Extreme 2.93GHz processor and my new nine series has an i7-980X Extreme, 12MB L3 Cache, 3.33GHz NO COMPARISON. This Laptop crushes my desktop. I have had it almost two months now with ZERO problems. Nothing has gone wrong. I was a little worried about it overheating, no problem, I had it converting videos and gaming for a full day with, no heat issues. This is the best buy I have made in a long time. "I really like the highly competitive prices in the site, the various upgrade options to choose from, and the helpful customer service. I also love the simple sleek design of the laptops. Recently, my Windows 7 crashed to a point where I cannot repair it myself and simultaneously my Blu-ray/DVD drive also broke down. So, I requested a shipping label so I can have it repaired which was emailed to be promptly. Since I am in FL and I had to ship it to CA, it took over a week, including transit time, until I got my laptop back. It came back with the BIOS updated and OS reinstalled, the optical drive replaced, and overall working in great condition.

"After much deliberation on the expense of purchasing a new laptop for my 3d design demands, I dropped a little over 3k on a new Veda. I am impressed so far! I ordered it on 6/3, it shipped on 6/7 and was here on 6/9 I think. I had my network engineer switch everything over and hook me up on our network..for kicks,while he was at it, he ran a performance test on the Veda, while it was downloading my enormous Outlook file and while downloading my 3d software and files. The test proved to be better than any desktop he'd seen...it's smokin' to say the least.

I was concerned that it's cooling would be even louder than the ear drum rattling HP that I had been using. To the contrary, I hardly hear it. I am pyshced!

My only dismay if any is that I really had no idea how BIG this thing is. So if you are after small, don't get the Veda...it's GIANT! I do love it though and the screen is killer. I'm not forced to wear my glasses or use a stand alone monitor. If however you are not worried about size or sitting in bed with it...it's rad. It is not a netbook :)

My only other complaint would be battery life...dismal. Perhaps an extra battery if you need to go that route. I ordered two cables so I could leave one neatly tucked under my desk and use the other for calling on clients. I'm glad I did b/c the transformer is like 400 lbs and the size of small car. Not really, but it is big and heavy.

Now back to the good stuff.... my 3d software has never run better! It's absolutely amazing!

The unit overall feels very well built and not flimsy like so many laptops.

The monitor is very steady and the hinge points are great.

The volume control is really coool!! It's lit so that you can see where it is and what volume setting your on, as well it's touch and ease of use are rad.

The keyboard has a fantastic feel! My networker too, agreed. He hits hundreds of keyboards a month and thinks this one feels the best!

Did I mention it's quite? Crazy.

One more bad...It goes too sleep to easily even w/power settings on High performance, but I'm sure this is a setting somewhere...I hope, b/c it's driving me nuts.

Finally, though I couldn't have justified or afforded any more cost, I do feel like I got a great deal. It's performance is unrivaled, it seems well built, time will tell, I was able to easily get the same guy on the phone...I think he's the only guy but he answers! I absolutely abhore getting a 1/2 English speaking tech that I struggle to understand...and this coming from someone who is multi lingual and can learn a language faster than most people can learn to fold clothes. I'm outta space, so the bottom line is, GO FOR IT! You'll love it!

"I've had my Nine Series portable desktop for about three weeks. I thought I might regret spending as much on a laptop, but precisely the opposite. I grow more fond of it every day. I didn't max it out, but I did add a little (i7 930, 3 HDD w/RAID stripe, Windows 7 OS).
