"Short answer is don't buy from this company. Yes, they are a real company, but they don't care about the customer. Well, they don't care about you and me. Seeing as how MRO center is also know as Maldon Holdings (who supplies some big corporations), they probably don't care enough about you even if you spend a few thousand at their store to return phone calls and emails. They do not have any type of usable customer service. No one answers the phones (or returns your call when you leave a message), contacting them through various emails gets you nowhere (in fact the main email they list for customer service isn't even valid-emails will bounce if you send anything to it).
It has been a month since I placed 2 orders, and I haven't heard a thing from them. That is in violation of the FTC's (Federal Trade Commission) Mail and Telephone order merchandise rule (which also extends to include orders over the internet), which states that if a product is ordered, and it goes on back order (like almost all reviewing here have had happen) then the company must either cancel the order or receive your permission to wait for the back ordered item to come back into stock. They should be held liable for their breaking of Federal Trade Regulations.
They also have charged me for the orders I have made, but don't even have the items, or have them shipped yet (another thing they should not be doing). Completely unacceptable. I will be filing a dispute with the credit card company, as there is no way to contact their customer service to cancel my order! This is unbelievable that a business is run in such a poor manner!
I urge everyone who has had a problem with them to file a complaint with both the BBB and the FTC. The more complaints logged against Maldon Holdings (MRO center), the more likely the FTC is to do something about this shady business.

"MRO Center had my order on back order for 3 weeks. Did not get a response by leaving a message on their answering machine nor did I get an email response. Eventually, after 4 weeks I put the charge on my credit card in dispute. They charged my card one week after I placed my order and did not have the item in their warehouse. Good thing I used a "secure number" from my credit card company. I am very dissatisfied with MRO Center for customer no-service and for charging my credit account for a back order. "
"I e-mailed them 4 times, left 3 phone messages and actually spoke with someone 3 days ago, who was going to get back to me that day or the next morning. No response. They hit my credit card 11 days ago. No communication at all. I stopped payment today after giving them 3 days to respond to e-mails and phone messages. It is a scam company. The 5 star ratings were probably written by someone overseas, obvious BS. Zero stars is not available."

"I ordered the item on 28 Jan '13. I received about 8 duplicate emails confirming my order. MRO Center was obviously having problems with their automation. It is now 25 Mar '13 and I have not received a tracking number, order update, expected delivery date, notice of back order or any correspondence whatsoever from my friends at MRO Center. They have stopped answering the phone and my next move is to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Fortunately for me the item was under $6.00 so there is no great loss.

"I ordered an item on 3/11/13 and spoke to a guy named Edgar..."so he said" I provided my CC information and a confirmation was sent to me moments later. For the last week, I have been trying to call several times a day to no avail. They will not return my calls or e-mails. My Credit Card was charged but never received the item.
I cancelled my card yesterday as so they do not have access to my information anymore. This was after I reported them to my bank to dispute the charge.
I then looked them up and found out that they are NOT even Accredited with the Better Business Bureau !!! I then Googled MRO Center Scams and saw a plethora of complaints about them.

I read the bad reports on this site and then all of a sudden you will see 3 to 4 Five Star reviews. I suspect this is themselves writing these good reviews. Or their friends. Its a bogus company. Read between the lines.
I just noticed that when Five Star reviews are written, they are in chronological order meaning they are written like once a day for 4 days in a row. The only Good reviews that are written are from MRO themselves !!
I just clicked on 17 random items on their website and everything said OUT OF STOCK !!! I'm thinking of getting some of my Biker Pals and have a personal visit with these people. "

"I made an order a month ago in Feb. 2013 but has not received it at the end of March. Called two weeks after ordering and was told the order could be delivered the following Monday. I called two weeks later but never went through. I left voice message and email to cancel the order but never got reply.

"I believe this company to engage in fraudulent activity.
I ordered an article back in August. Although the product was not in stock, they charged my credit card. When I enquired about this, they faulted a clerical error, but did not refund my money claiming the item would soon be restocked and shipped.
After months of emailing and calling, I received a message saying the item thad finally arrived and would ship to me for a shipping price almost three ties the value of the product even though they had on several occasions assured me that it would ship for free.
when i came up with a different shipping address to lower the transport cost, they told me that all of a sudden then product had been sold to another customer.
At this point I demanded a refund.
That was five weeks ago.
In hindsight I should have known that their advertised price was too good to be true, but still...

"I was surfing the web for Bosch DLR130K and I came across MRO center.I was hesitated because some of the reviews here but I decided to give it a shot, so I placed my order 3days and received it today. I also ordered CDI Torque 10002MRMH and some high quality tools. The overall process was smooth I didn't have any issues or problems.
I spoke the their customer services to ask about product specifications and they were very helpful.
