"I think this is a very loving and nurturing environment. The reason why I selected the school, was because of its basis in true Montessori method. I have a firm belief that this also means a holistic care for the child. Including, behavior modification. I would encourage professional development in the new and highly studied topic on emotional intelligence. It was concerning to me, that on multiple occasions I've witnessed staff use the word you're not a baby, you shouldn't cry, you're a big boy. I think that one's emotional intelligence is studied, it'll be clear that using this language is not appropriate and this diminishing to the child. My experience is that everyone is trying their best, given resources. I anticipate that the new school year everyone will feel better supported."

"Overall I was impressed with Glades Montessori. Miss Wendy was a very friendly and warm person. She seemed very knowledgeable and was diligent in show casing the layout of the classes. Classroom sizes were large. The playground was spacious and well shaded with beautiful trees.Even though many rooms were packed up ( I visited over summer when school was out) I could still see it was organized.There were modifications being done to improve the facility which is great. The only down side for me is that the building is older (maybe 30 years old) so the esthetics were not my personal favorite (smaller windows, popcorn ceilings) but overall it looked clean. We are just looking at schools in the Boca area but this is definitely a top contender."
