"Our tour of the facility was excellent. The director of the facility took time and professionally answered all our questions. It’s a beautiful and well maintained building. We are looking forward to enroll our son in this school."
"We love it! The staff are wonderful, and love the kids!"
"We've been at 2 other schools. One was Creme De La Crème and that place sucked. I'm also highly critical of public education. Montessori with Ms. Mary & Ms. Deeba is the most we could ask for. We're really thankful Zara has such a good school."
"There has been a lot of turn over in the 3 years we have been there. The beloved teachers are still there and are truly amazing. Since this last staff turn over we have seen a big improvement. The people that work the front desk and the director seem happy. In the past the director seemed very overwhelmed, and a bit all over the place. The school seems to be cleaner and managed better."
"Nice, caring adminVery loving, genuine, nurturing teachersFeel like there is a lack of curriculum or individualized attention and actual learning"
"Love this school. Has been so wonderful even with transitioning teachers to have care providers that really love on and care about my little one. She's grown so much already in the short amount of time here."
"The school is lovely. I would just like more communication about what my children are actually doing throughout the day. Art projects, math, music, science, language, culture, history. What are they learning?"
"We love the staff here. They are so good with our children, and always happy to see them. I see a lot of progress in our eldest in her fine motor skills (coloring, etc), ability to perform tasks independently, and her language skills. They worked wonders with our youngest also when he was transitioning to solid foods, he proved to be a slow starter there."
"The teachers and administrators provide a loving and educational environment that allows children to thrive, while also fostering mental and social development."
"We really like the teachers in the infant program & they genuinely seem to like our children (our older son attended as a baby too). I think the room could be cleaner at times...mostly the floors."
"Absolutely impressed. Came from primrose and I think the difference is huge. The director is truly impressive with all she does. I feel so comfortable having my kids there"
"I agree with this assessment that this school is a combination of Montessori and Day Care. It's not a true Montessori program and I often feel nickle and dimed for things that would normally be included within tuition. The director tries to make changes and amends where she is able (and is very nice about it) but often indicates that her hands are tied by corporate. The teachers are what keep us at the school right now - my kids love them."
"The school staff has been wonderful. We transitioned from 3 days a week to 5 days, and part days to full days/extended care. She's blossomed with her language and her fine motor skills. They are helping us with potty training. She loves to go see her friends, and all the fun activities the school sets up for them."
"All positive. So very happy with every component of this school."
"We love the school as a whole. The teachers are sweet and fantastic with the kids. However, the communication is poor. There is a lot of generic communication, but when addressing a specific issue, we could not get accurate information from the teachers and the director was unhelpful."
"Shortly after starting at Colleyville Montessori there was a major administration change. This, along with other issues that we were having, led us to consider alternative schools in the area. However, the new director came on board and sat down with us to discuss all issues. She took notes and immediately began to discuss her plans for the school. We decided to wait and give her time to implement changes. Throughout the next several months, as changes would occur, she would stop us and ask our opinion. This made us feel valued and heard, which engaged us in the school. There are still opportunities for improvement; however, our daughter is thriving in her new class and amazes us with the amount she is learning."
