The adapter was obviously used, but it was also obvious that care was taken to make the adapter look as good as it could. The surface had been lightly sanded to remove scratches and dirt. The cable was in very good shape. Since this is most often what causes a problem in the T shape adapters, this was nice to see. "After having gone through 3 power adaptors for my MacBook, including one of those CHEAP made-by-slave-labor-in-Red-China knock-offs, I was delighted to find MacBookAdapter.com. MacBookAdapter.com refurbishes and sells real Apple refurbished MacBook Adaptors with a warranty -- which they'll double when you send them your broken adaptor, which they will, in turn, refurbish -- for less than I paid for the cheap knock-off, and less than half the price that Apple sells new power adaptors. The adaptor from MacBookAdapter was a genuine 85 watt apple adaptor for less than half the price of a new one. The products are refurbished, so I knew that there is some risk of the products not being perfect. The initial adaptor did have issue, but the service was beyond outstanding. I reported the problem and was immediately given a pre-paid return label. Then before I could even get the product in the mail my replacement arrived and it works perfectly. All products run the risk of being bad, so I judge a company based on how they handle the exceptions. MacBookAdaptor was brillinat in this category.
