"I'd always enjoyed doing business with MacZone till they sent me a French version of a Dreamweaver Upgrade and won't take it back or credit my account.
At first, they insisted what I had ordered had been delivered. When I spoke to my salesman, he agreed it was MacZone's error. MacZone sent me an email attachment of a FedEx prepaid label.
I printed the label, took the product to FedEx, and they packed it, saying my label wouldn't scan, so FedEx insisted on recreating the label. They sent the product to MacZone in Fort Worth.
MacZone claims the product was damaged in transit and that it's my fault since I didn't use the "label" they sent. They have returned the French version. I don't speak French and don't want it.
They refuse to credit my account or take back the product."
"I called MacZone and ordered a 17" 1.25GHz iMac; I told the rep I only wanted to order this machine IF it shipped with Panther, the new operating system. He promised it did and I asked him this question several times. On receiving the machine I noticed the box did not indicate which operating system the machine had; I called MacZone and asked them to verify the OS number; the tec rep told me to plug the machine in, turn it on and check from the menu. The machine had 10.2 and now MacZone is being unresponsive about my returning the machine which is not the machine I ordered nor is it the one I was promised."
"I have purchased many, many things from MacZone over the last several years, and have never had a problem."
"I've never had problems with MacZone. I usually call them if they have an item in stock and they'll usually match prices from other similar competitors that don't have the item in stock."
