"I had a very good experience with macrecycling.com recently! I ordered a replacement bezel and top for my MBP (Penryn). The old bezel was cracked and would have eventually cracked my LCD if I didn't fix it. I was unable to find a new or used bezel in stock at any online or local dealer. The one that macrecyling had was used "B" stock. It did have a couple of minor imperfections in the finish but was in great shape otherwise, plus it saved me money! I was able to get the bezel, the back, a spudger and a multi-bit torx driver for under $100. And they shipped it to me via USPS Priority Mail so I had it in less than 2 days! Thanks Macrecycling! I do have one other thing to add. be sure to check their prices against other online dealers. Some of their items are marked very high. Although most of them are very reasonable. It doesn't hurt to shop around."

"Don't let the professional website fool you, they are out to make money and screw the customer in the process. I ordered a PowerBook keyboard, thinking I was saving money by buying a used one. They told me over the phone that it was "A+ Quality" so I went on ahead and bought it.

It shipped fast, but as soon as I opened it up I noticed that it was full of what looked like Cola in behind the keys. Great, so now I had two broken keyboards. I hooked it up and it did work, however...but 60 dollars for a keyboard covered in dried cola and a broken key just didn't work for me.

I called and requested my money back and found out that they only have a exchange policy (cleverly hidden behind "6 month warranty" and "satisfaction guaranteed" slogans).

I feel I just wasted 60 bucks.

Don't buy from this company, it is a scam!"

Total Cost So Far = $44.24 + 2 months wait time for a working part for my client that this repair is for.

Left credit card with macrecycling.com company so they'd send 2nd RMA out immediately before they receive the 2nd broken part back.

"Extremely unsatisfied and now VERY SUSPICIOUS of this company. Never buy from a company before reading their return policy. I ordered a precision screwdriver set and a CD-Combo drive for my mac, which I later returned. The screw driver set I never even opened any of the packaging, and the CD-Combo drive was never installed on my computer because I ended up not needing either parts. Completed procedures for a merchandise return within the set amount of days, followed every rule, etc. But the website still says my return is "pending", like it has said, it seems like forever. I e-mailed through their website and they wrote back that my return "will go through in the next couple days". That was two weeks ago and still no change. Tried calling their "direct line" and no one answered, same with their toll free line. It seems there is intentionally no human presence on the end of any of these methods of contact and I am getting very angry and suspicious about this whole situation. The amount of time this has taken is absolutely unacceptable and the lack of real communication between this store and its customer is infuriating. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE if you think there is even a SLIGHT chance you will have to return anything. I have a feeling I will never get my money back, but I will take further and legal actions if Mac Recycling keeps neglecting to process my return and/or contact me concerning it. My whole experience with this has been absolutely unacceptable. "
