"This site is terrible. Ordered a cooling fan from them since they had the best price. This was Jul 3rd and today is Jul 17th. I still don't have the product in my hands despite the status saying "paid".I tried calling their customer service number and it actually asked me to leave a message. Also sent an email to both the website manager and their sales email and got no reply. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that no one actually works at their site. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone... even at a cheaper price."
"Dealing with Magnum-PC.com and had a major problem. Ordered a StarTech.com CB1394 firewire adaptor and received it in a reasonable amount of time. However, device was dead on arrival. I have emailed the company several times and received no response, and calls are picked up by a voicemail or answering machine, left messages with no response.
Now dealing directly with StarTech and it looks like I'll pay about $15 more to get a replacement cross-shipped. So much for saving money.
Very upset and think this company has a lot of work to do, or maybe they should get out of the reselling business. If they can't handle customer service, then they shouldn't be doing it.

I had been tracking the order online and decided to cancel because the website reported that the item had not been shipped and I had fixed the problem another way.
It was only after sending the cancellation email that suddenly the status page was updated with 'shipped'. To their credit I did receive a prompt email.
I had requested for FedEx delivery because I don't like UPS at all. Of course they used UPS. NOTE: Their Ts&Cs state they might use UPS instead but what's the point of offering the option on their order page? This fact should at least be indicated in the relevant place.
So, I request an RMA and express my dissatisfaction via email and have had no response and now their contact phone number is not working.
Overall I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE"

Tried emailing them and I haven't heard back from them. Finally had to send an email saying that I was canceling and would dispute the charge if it went through."

Great thing about Magnum-PC, unlike most of online stores that sell computer hardware, these guys have outstanding computer knowledge and they will help their customers in any way possible with their newly purchased hardware. You cant really beat that! Even that sometimes their pricing couple of dollars more then someone elses, i rather buy from Magnum-PC, keeping in mind that i MIGHT need technical advice.

"Terrible web site. Terrible communication. Ripped me off.
Their web site is set up to allow Canadians to place orders. The "country" field allows you to choose Canada or USA. You can also choose from provinces or states. They allow this choice for billing and shipping addresses.
Six days after I place my order, I receive an email telling me the order has been cancelled because they cannot ship to Canada. During that week, the exchange rate changed dramatically, so my refund when they voided the order was $10.00 less than what I originally paid. I realize they did not actually get $10.00 from me, but I was still out $10.00. I emailed them about this twice and got no response at all. I also stated that they were partially responsible for having a web site that accepted Canadian addresses. They did not respond at all. Very unprofessional!!

They didn't send me a tracking number or an email to let me know when it was mailed, but their website did allow me to check the status of the order, so I was able to retrieve the tracking number. "I placed an order for a Fujifilm AC 5VX on Friday, 12/1/06. Being a price shopper I was quite satisfied with the price. Over the weekend I found out that my sister had bought the exact item for me for Xmas. I looked on the Magnum-PC website and found a contact name (Joe)& phone number. I telephoned -- expecting the worst (ie., can't cancel order or a big restocking fee, etc.) Joe actually answered the phone on the 3rd or 4th ring & said the item was already picked up by Fed Ex but that he would try to stop it and call me back. Within 10 minutes he called me back and said he stopped the shipment and I should see the "full" credit within a couple of days...... What a great experience ---- very unusual for a web reseller.
