"I recently purchased a C204W charger w/ twelve 2300mAh batteries. It's a nice product. They delivered very quickly. I previously ordered a 10x 9V charger and 10 9V batteries and could not be happier. The products I purchased from their online store have been top notch and they do what they say. I use the 9V's for Audio-Technica wireless lapel microphone systems and I get 2.5 hours of useful transmission on each charge. I use the AA's for digital cameras/audio recorders. "Already own the MH-C401FS and PowerEx 2200mAh AA batteries which I bought for my camera from a distributor in the UK. Great charger and batteries.
This time I needed true 9v PP3 batteries for my Ultrasonic Cat repellants I use to keep my garden free from 'you know what'.
I can’t power these from the mains and so used alkaline batteries. However after a couple of weeks I noticed a loss of performance as the battery voltage dropped.
Knowing that NiMh batteries have a more constant output I switched to NiMh PP3s. These didn't perform as I had hoped. I then realized that they were 7.2v.
It was then I turned to Maha and found their 9.6v NiMh PP3s. Not being able to source them in the UK I ordered online from Maha the UK MH-C490F with three 9.6v PP3s. Emails let me know the status of the order and to my amazement two days latter they were delivered to my door here in Scotland. A lot of UK online shops can't deliver in two days and should take note!
The charge time of 2 hours of the MH-C490F compared to the 15 hours of my other PP3 charger is just fantastic. The 9.6v batteries have exceeded my hopes. The ultrasonic repellants are working as if mains and not batteries are powering them.

Highly recommend Maha products and buying directly from them online. I hope the special on delivery charges continues for a long time to come.

"on october 15 2003 I ordered the Powerex Intelligent charger with 8 nimh batteries.
Taking into account that this is a fast charger
with the option of reconditioning the batteries,
the price of $50 seemed fair to me.Also the international airfreight charge to Israel were very low in comparison to other outlets.
Next day i received a phone call to Israel from MAHA in california.The gentleman from the customer service notified me that I ordered the charger with a 110v power adapter while,as far as he knows,the right one for israel is 220v.
