"I needed to buy a part for our Highlander. The friendly parts manager at Stevens Creek Toyota in San Jose where we live told me it's cheaper to buy it online (from a Toyota dealer) than in person at the same dealership. (Thanks for the advice.) Then, when I went online, I found the exact same part was also $10 cheaper at the online parts store at Taita Toyota. Bottom line -- ask around, shop around. "
