"Manhertzsaudio has stolen from me as well as others. Because this is such a strong claim I am providing a detailed explanation of the events.

I was linked to this store through “Award Winning Tech's” http:\\store03.prostores.com.servlet/awardwinningtechs/the-17/Sony-Cyber-dsh-shot-DSC-dsh-W300/Det... from a Yahoo shopping search. The Manhertzsaudio website indicated that the product was in stock and selling for $189.00. The website had a Yahoo E-Commerce link that indicated that it was set up through Yahoo Small Business Merchants. During checkout I was asked to select one of three payment types Diners Club, JCB, or Purchase Order. Not having either of the first two I selected purchase order. And completed the order without incident. At 10:27 AM I got an email explaining the purchase order procedure as follows:
This email is to confirm the receipt of your recent order from Yhst-36253749591688
How to make payment for your Order:
Make payment for your order using GreenDot money transfer service. To make payment for your order, you need to purchase a Green Dot MoneyPak at a retail location near you.(GreenDot is available at major retailers nationwide, including WalMart, CVS Pharmacy, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Longs Drugs, Kroger, Ralphs, Meijer and more)
1. Visit a GreenDot retail location near you.
2. Purchase a GreenDot MoneyPak in the prepaid section of the store for the exact amount of your order.
(Example: If you purchase a Apple iPod touch 8GB , then you will buy a MoneyPak for $137.99)
3. After you have purchase the MoneyPak, reply to this email with the MoneyPak activation numbers (found on the back of the packaging or receipt look for ACTIVATION NUMBERS) to make payment for you order.
After we have receive your payment your order will be ship out the next business day via UPS 3-5 days Free and you will receive email confirmation with UPS tracking number.”
I sent an email questioning whether we could complete payment online and received a reply from “Lisa” explaining that the process had to be completed as explained. That was September 15th at 2:17 PM. The next day Wednesday September 16th I bought a MoneyPak card and that evening I sent the activation code.
I waited 48 hours and did not receive the tracking number so by Friday afternoon I started calling the phone number. No matter what options were chosen it always went to voice mail. I did try the directory typing in the first three letters of the person's first name “Lis”. According to the directory there was no one by that name at the company. I did leave a voice mail message.
At 4:55pm Friday September 18th I received this email:
We are sorry to inform you that there will be a delay in shipping your order. We are having some problem with our inventory management software system, at the time when you place your order we were actually sold out of the that item and our inventory system was not updated.
We will be getting that item; Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300, back in stock Thursday October 1, and we guarantee that your order will be ship out that very same day via UPS 3-5 days. Thank you, and once again sorry for any inconvenient we may have cause you.
Lisa, ManhertzsAudio.com
I sent a return email the same day explaining several concerns I had including among other things; they did not do as they said they would, lied about their inventory levels, and seemed to be string me along. Finally, I explained that if I checked and the funds on the MoneyPak account were drawn out inappropriately I would consider that stealing.
I received this emailed response Saturday Sept 19th:
Rest assured we will not collect the funds from GreenDot unless we ship your order.
Thank You
Lisa, Customer care team!
On Friday Oct 2nd a day after I was supposed to receive my tracking number I emailed the company requesting the tracking number. The email was sent around 1 pm. By the end of their workday 5 pm I still had not received a reply. I did a quick check and found out that someone apparently experienced a very similar situation on Sept 13-15. (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090924131536AAmoxuL ).
I then checked the balance on my MoneyPak card and discovered it was $0.
I sent a final email asking for immediate contact and refund of funds explaining my intent to file a complaint of theft. I never received a reply to my last two emails.
This is an abbreviated explanation of a complaint that has been filed with the police. If you would like more details email me at ****@****."
