"I ordered two bras from Mardi Bra because their prices were good and they were close to me so I expected the items to arrive sooner than other online retailers. Unfortunately, customer service at Mardi Bra is nonexistent. I didn't receive a shipping confirmation within 2 weeks and I would be fine it the items were on backorder, but Mardi Bra failed to respond to both my e-mails and voicemails (By the way, they don't pick up the phone even during business hours). I had to file a dispute and escalate it to a claim through Paypal and have received a refund from Paypal.

Don't even think of buying anything there. I saw another site with reviews and they were all great up until this year. Every review in 2008 was basically the same as mine.

"On January 11, 2008, I ordered 2 Playtex bras and paid using PayPal. The funds came out of my PayPal account immediately and I received order confirmation. That was the last positive thing about my experience with Mardi Bra. After a week or so, I went in to check my order status, only to see that I was non-existent in their system. Sent them an email on 1/20/08 that went unanswered; sent another that went unanswered; sent a third to Sales as well as Customer Service. Both departments finally replied on 1/24. First email said, order has shipped and tracking info forthcoming. Second email said, order is ready to ship and I'll be notified when it ships. On January 29, I still had not received shipment, or tracking information. I emailed on the 29th asking them to cancel the order and issue a refund. They immediately replied that I had been refunded.

Refund didn't show up in PayPal within a day or so, so I had to initiate a dispute with PayPal. I did that on January 31st. Mardi Bra ignored PayPal until I escalated the dispute to a claim. At that time, February 14, Mardi Bra provided tracking information. The tracking information was for an order 14 months old - in September 2006 - that shipped about 2500 miles from where I live. Not only that - it wasn't even my order! I never ordered from Mardi Bra until 2008!!!!

Disappointing part is that Mardi Bra is now ignoring me and PayPal, PayPal saw that tracking info was provided, so they closed the case and won't refund me. I'm so angry, now I have to start this process all over again.

Bottom line: Mardi Bra sucks - find your items somewhere else!

"I decided to purchase three bras from Mardi Bra because I liked a certain style of two bras I owned but I could not find any more in my size at my local stores. I placed my order on January 7th, and my credit card was billed on January 9th. I waited and waited for an email confirmation that my order had shipped, but I became nervous when I had not received one a week and a half later. I emailed customer service on January 18th. I received an "order shipped" confirmation email on January 19th, but I never received an answer to my email. Although I knew my order was on its way, I still wanted to know why my credit card was charged a week and a half before the product was shipped, because usually companies (such as amazon.com) do not charge your credit card until the items ship. I called customer service on January 21 to have my question answered, and someone answered the phone. She attempted to answer my question but could not, and she stated that they were not actually open that day because it was a holiday (MLK Jr day) and she suggested I call back the following day to have my question answered. At this point I was getting annoyed because I just had one simple question to be answered and I was not getting a quick/accurate response from customer service. I called the next day (Jan 22nd) but I had to leave a message because no one answered: I stated my contact info, order number, and that I had one simple question, and asked for them to call me back. I never received a return call, so I called (again!) on Jan 23rd, and I had to leave another message with the same content as the previous days'. I received a message on my answering machine later that day with a woman apologizing that I got the wrong size and asking that I please call them back to tell them what size I received. I never said anything about receiving the wrong size, I hadn't even received the package at this point! So I called back the next day and finally got to speak to a person. I told them I had received the correct size (the package was finally delivered on Jan 23rd in the afternoon, a full two weeks after my credit card was billed, two and a half weeks after I placed my order). I asked my simple question and I finally got an answer: they do not have merchandise on site, they just take orders and money, and they tell the manufacturer of whatever you ordered (mine was Bali) to ship the items to you. I still do not understand why this process took as long as it did, even if they are acting as a middle man between you and the manufacturer. I do not recall seeing any indication on their website stating that orders may take 2 and a half weeks to arrive because they do not have the products on site. I hope I have illustrated that I received what I ordered, but the whole process has been very frustrating and time consuming."
