"Margaritavillecargo has "moderated" my review on their site and Amazon. Here is my review
I order "Margaritaville DM1946-000-000 Jimmy Buffet Signature Edition Frozen Concoction Maker, DM1946, Metallic" on Amazon for my husband's birthday and paid international shipping and import tax(which is a lot) , and waited for a long time for it to arrive in Singapore. But it STOPPED WORKING after less than 20 uses. I wrote to the CS five month ago, the first costumer service representative had been very helpful, we verified all the photo proofs, info needed, and we had agreed on a date (beginning of June) that a replacement will be send to my US address with an exception having not to return the defective product- as I live in overseas. However when the agreed date passed nothing happened, and the representative couldn't not longer be reached. Another representative took over the case, but ALL HAS CHANGED. No consistency at all. I was asked to send the product back to Canada, which it fine, but the freight will be out of my pocket- about $200! I offered to shoot a video to prove it indeed not working, but no flexibility on that either. Without a full market research, looking into the potential costumer care issues, I suggest the company do not proceed Asia business via any channels or platforms! If only the return costs within USA or CA can be covered by the company why on earth you sell them to ASIA? It is not fair, and does not make any sense. I bought it, and I was happy to pay what I needed to pay to bring it here, but when it's broken why the costumer should suffer the consequences of a company lacking of international business experiences, inconsistency of costumer care, and lacking of flexibility. Please be aware, the machine does break down, and if you are overseas, you will have to pay a lot of money to get it fixed. I'm not going to send it back, just not worth it. I'm done."
"Margaritaville Cargo refused to post my review of their replacement batteries for mixers because I criticized them for still selling NiCAD batteries that lose capacity fairly quickly instead of changing to Nickel Metal Hydride or Lithium which have much better lifespans. I'm on my 3rd battery already. Sounds to me like they don't want to spoil Mr. Buffett's party. (or their own battery replacement bonanza.)"
