I recieved an Email back saying that my light was working fine and that it was supposed to look dim and purply beacause it was a "true actinic" I emailed again assuring them that this light could not possibly be designed to look so crappy and the guy told me that he went and plugged one in and then to see what it should look like and repeated to me that my light was fine and supposed to look this way. Fed up, I took my light out and went to the local fish store and told them all of this and they plugged in my light next to the exact same one that worked properly and confirmed that my light was about 1/10th the brightness it should be. So my light looks like crap, I was told that it is supposed to look like that and I cant get it exchanged. Goodbye to that 27 bucks I guess."
