But for parts information are very bad! I need head gaskets for 1983 OMC 3.8 liter engine, I check very careful, on your web, it is 18-3879, therefore I order 18-1278 gasket set, it include 18-3879. When open the package, I discover the cylinder holes on the gaskets are too big. I called the service, he help me check around, and tell me that is right parts, I installed them on to the engine.
Later, I find out this gasket is for 4.3 liter only. 3.8 liter (229 CID) us different gasket ! ( piston of 4.3 liter is 4" diameter, for 3.8 liter is 3.75" ) How can you make the trouble like that ?"
