"On April 22, 2008 I ordered 2 Zumo 550 GPS units, a Canon camera, and 2 extended warranties. I received the 2 Zumo units and the camera but have been calling ever since trying to get the extended warranties that I purchased. For a while I was getting promises that the warranties were being sent out by the warranty company whose name I was given as Warrentech. After numerous calls to Mark's Outdoor Gear with no success I called Warrentech and was told that Mark's Outdoor Gear would be the one to send out the warranty certificates, not Warrentech. As I got more specifics I would call Mark's Outdoor Gear back and leave messages but now no one will call me back. They have no customer service as far as I am concerned. I have left messages on several occasions asking to speak with the owner of the company and now my calls are just ignored. I would not do business with this company again. Mark's Outdoor Gear is owned by LPM Interactive, Inc. I am assuming they are also in Florence, Kentucky. If anyone has a contact number for LPM Interactive I would appreciate you passing it on to me.

"I’m a Sergeant for a local police department outside of Columbus, OH. We had purchased 15 new BMW motorbikes that come with a GPS already installed. We contacted BMW and they informed us Garmin produced the GPS’s and the model was a Zumo 550. They gave us a price a little over $1200.00 each, so we did some research on the internet and found Mark’s Outdoor Gear, via Bizrate, for under 630.00 plus free shipping. We purchased 20 Zumos from them on June 10th and we received 5 different packages, 4 units each, by June 18th.
At first I did get worried a little because they were have trouble with an error in the tracking box. I noticed that they had shipped on the 13th but I didn’t receive an instant tracking number in the email, it just stated at the bottom of the email tracking available within 24-48 hrs. I called them on Monday 16th of June but just got their voice mail. On Tuesday 17th we receive the first 3 packages, 12 GPS’s, and on the 18th we receive the balance. We did receive a call on Tuesday from their customer service department informed us that they had an issue with their web-host and the tracking field but they would email the tracking info over later that day. I informed the customer service agent that we had received 12 of the 20 units so far and were very happy with the units.
I’m very happy with our purchase and this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who shops online.
PS with the Gas prices were they are now our police department has been averaging over 10,000.00 over our monthly budget. So we may be looking to purchase more of this and we know where to shop."
"So I ordered a new hiking pack from Mark's Outdoor Gear on June 11th 2008 with the 3 day shipping option because I had planned a hiking trip for the next week. The day after I placed the order I received an email saying that by pack had been shipped via UPS, however no tracking number was provided, which seemed odd to me but I ignored it since the website itself had a built in shipment tracking feature.
Two days later I tried using their website's shipment tracking system, and all it would tell me was that I had an invalid tracking number. I gave them another day after that in hopes that my pack would either arrive or their system would update and tell me where it was. Neither happened so I gave them a call as soon as could on Monday since they're closed on the weekend. Their customer service is suppose to be available from 10am to 5pm ET, I called at 3:50 and received no answer, but left a polite message stating my concern.
On Tuesday I received no call back so on Wednesday I sent an email explaining my situation and received a response Thursday basically saying that they'll look into it.
It is now Saturday, their customer service is closed for the weekend, and I did not receive any kind of answer. I missed my hiking trip that I had to pull strings for to get the days off from work, and am beginning to wonder if I'll ever receive my pack. "
"I ordered a Nuvi 660 from Marks Outdoor Gear. The site was well organized and explained the ordering and shipping procedure completely. Very fast shipping. I ordered about 11am , I got confirmation that it shipped about 4pm the following day and I received the item within 3 business days.
I saved this store in my favorites for future use and have shopped here several times since.

"I ordered a ZUMO 550 from Marks Outdoor Gear on May 22nd, talked on the phone to make sure they were a good seller. Great comunication, very good price, and a very good extended waranty program.
Order shipped the next day, but I couldnt get the tracking # to work.
I Called back, was told they were having trouble with their UPS system. One week later when it had not arrived, I called back, was told that they had reshipped with FED EX overnight that day, and my shipping would be free!!! Recieved the next day.
I am VERY satisfied with Marks Outdoor Gear and would recomend them to anyone.

"Mark’s Outdoor Gear had the GPS I wanted at a great price. The salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The GPS arrived when stated, the only negative I could give them was that they sent me an acknowledgement of shipping without the tracking but the tracking did follow the next day and I received it that day, also. I have bookmarked this company as a favorite and will shop here again.
After the sticker shock I suffered at a local Best Buy and Circuit City I took my quest for a “Garmin Zumo 550” online. Mark's Outdoor Gear advertised price for the unit was about $300.00 less expensive than the local retail stores and $15-$50 less than most of the other online advertised prices. The deal seemed to be to good to be true, but after a couple days of hem hawing around I took the plunge. I could not have been happier with the result. The store shipping time was 24-72 hrs to process and ship and 3-5 days to arrive after shipping. Four days after I clicked on the purchase option, my ordered was at my front door and delivered by UPS. The exact product I ordered was delivered on time and for an excellent price. I couldn’t believe it, order this on Monday and it arrived on Friday, and the next day I had it on my bike and loving it.
Mark’s Outdoor Gear is most highly recommended by me and I’ve forward their site over to some friends of mine that love to ride."

"I placed an order for an Altec Lansing M604 Zune Dock. No tracking information was given. Took several days to ship. When I called back I was told it had been delivered two days prior. I never received. On six different occasions I called or emailed regarding the order and then a refund. Emails were never answered and promised follow up calls were never made. I finally reached someone who told me a credit was issued to my Visa card on December 27, 2007. As of 1/30/2008 no credit has appeared on my account. I am currently disputing the charge."
