I tried this site giving it 6 months. I did not last the 6 months and canceled my subscription 3 months in. Because my membership was not over till December I still had access to my match site so I continued trying it for another 2 months. At which time I was sure I was done. I checked my account again to make sure I would not get charged again. The process to cancel is not easy so I was cafeful to follow the steps it gave me (mind you hard to find steps). Because the canceling procedure was hard to find warning flag for me I doubled check. I even made sure my card would not get charge again through their site. Despite all that here we are six months later and they charge my account anyways. I called the company they said if I can find the email,? they did not send me, saying my account was cancelled they will give me a full refund. This kind of action is wrong. Call this number and make sure your account is cancelled or they will rip you off. 1 ***-***-**** Good luck"

To begin with, Match is a SCAM!!! They block your account access 2 days B4 free trial ends, so you cannot log in to cancel b4 THEY CHARGE your credit card. Look out for a class action lawsuit over this!! THEIR SUPPORT IS UNRESPONSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then their entire user interface is hideous, super slow and infuriating!
Their messaging system is awful. It does not allow searching your mail, so if you are looking for a specific email with a specific content or keyword, you have to scroll down and open each one of your dozens or hundreds of emails to find it! Then, if you answer to one email and you go back to your inbox, their system takes you back to the top of your inbox, so you have to scroll down and keep clicking "next page" a dozen times to get to the last email you viewed.

Custom searches constantly crash and you have to start all over again. It takes thousands of clicks and hours of work to do what other sites do in 20 seconds. I cannot believe there are millions of idiots paying for this trash. I bet most of them have been blocked out of their accounts, like I was, and Match keeps using their profiles to build false expectations in both potential new users and advertisers.

"Match.com should find a way to reduce the number of men who are not financially, emotionally, or physically ready for a relationship. These men are time wasters and are just looking for fun until they are in a place to commit. The problem is, many of them will never be in a place to commit, so they should just not be on a dating site, where people are looking for a long term relationship and possible marriage. I finally met a great guy after being on match for several years (on and off) and dealing with men who continually date multiple women, continue to be on match.com even when you are trying to move forward to something serious... etc. There needs to be a way to eliminate these kind of men, and attract men and women who are ready for something serious.
