"Beware items excluded from sales. They are using a new program called Fan Favs to exclude some items from their site-wide sales. They don't give you an itemized discounted price on your invoice before you checkout and only a combined discount at the bottom. You have to check your total and make sure you did get the discount off everything or you might have one of these items in your order. It is easy to miss a small graphic above the picture saying Fan Fave. There is nothing mentioned in the description or on the invoice that it is excluded. Bad way to do business."

"BEWARE INTERNATIONAL BUYER.

If you are an International buyer, beware of this mattel online store, they will collect some amount on the "top" of "Shipping fee", for what they called "International Handling fee" which they said they will try to cover some "import tax" when you receive the goods.

But, the reality their carrier DID NOT pay ANY SINGLE IMPORT tax for you, so you still need to pay your IMPORT TAX.

In other word, those what they called "International Handling FEE" are the EXTRA PROFIT FOR THEM.

"I'm honestly disappointed in the online "buying" experience from Mattel this year. They always send me emails with sale deals and, being the holiday season, I decided to buy a few things for my daughter. Their latest deal was everything 25% site wide and free shipping. Great deal, right? Not so fast. Turns out "site wide" isn't site wide. I chose seven different items and only one came up as discounted. Why? Because the fine print says there is no discount available on Monster High or Polly Pocket or Barbie. Why say SITE WIDE when it isn't? Further, I have a 10 year old boy that I wanted to buy some things for and I looked at the age bracket and everything is for 6 or 7 year olds. No 10 year old boy I know is going to play with dolls. Come on Mattel, add some stuff for older kids and if a sale is "site wide" make it SITE WIDE. Very disappointing. "
