"A very straightforward process. Went online and gave all the information, got a quote for my phone. They sent me a box (no packing material though), and I shipped my old phone to them. A few days later I received an email saying that they had received it, then another confirming the value, and a few days after that I received the check. Very simple, no surprises..."
"MaxBack does EVERYTHING they say they are going to do - and more! They contact you when they have received the item you sent, they tell you what they will offer you (which may be more than what they had originally offered) and they tell you when they will send the check - usually within about two days of analyzing what you had sent. All in all, a great experience"
"Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'd do it again. I have some suggestions for future users, and for MaxBack.
1. For an item that is fully functional, you might consider taking photographs of your item prior to shipping it, so if there is a dispute of value (due to scratches, etc.), you'll have a photo to either agree with or dispute the assessment.
2. For an assessed value that is less than what the user had indicated, you do receive an email indicating that you can either accept the reduced assessed value or have your item returned. There is no opportunity for discussion of the matter.
3. I sent two iPhones in one box that I supplied so I got an extra $5 because MaxBack didn't have to ship a box to me. I suppose I could have received a total of $10 had I shipped the iPhones separately.
4. Keeping the items separate may be a good idea, since one of my iPhones had scratches on the face and I did reduce my assessment of its value (per the website). However, the other iPhone was in near-perfect condition. When MaxBack emailed me their assessment of reduced value of one iPhone, it was entirely ambiguous as to which one they were talking about. Keeping each iPhone on a separate invoice/order would eliminate the confusion/ambiguity."

"First, let's start off with the most important part---I have dealt with Gazelle before and I did shop prices before I went with you.(I have turned in phones to you twice now). Both times, the price you offered was higher than anyone else's.
Service is excellent. I printed out the address label, went to the UPS store and got everything boxed up and sent out. A few days later I got my check.
You folks are the best! Will continue to use you when my new iPhone 5S is ready for exchange. Thanks again for your help!
