"MegaGPS is a great company! I ordered the new Garmin Nuvi 265t which hadn't been released yet.
The item came in on time (which was 15 earlier than Amazon). 2 Day shpping was free and the product is great.

"Great place to shop. After talking to 2 NY stores (I will leave that rant for another site) I found Megagps. Great web site and the person I spoke to on the phone was polite and knowledgeable, after a wrong click on my part I called to cancel that order and place the correct one. No hassle or questions, shipped out that same day and arrived (with free shipping) 3 days later. My gps works great and there was even a free pen in the box, nothing better then a surprise freebee. Megagps was in fact the lowest price on my item; don’t be fooled by the NY stores offering the same items for hundreds lower."

"Singing the praises of this store. I ordered the brand new on the market, very elusive Garmin Nuvi 880 GPS. Every company I contacted had this item on a waiting list. Finally, I ordered it from MegaGPS, figuring I would have to wait for it from them too. Imagine my surprise when I received an email the very next day with my UPS tracking number!! I received the item two days later. Wow. I highly recommend this company for all of your GPS needs, and I will be ordering from them again. "

"Pros: Cheapest price, shipped from their warehouse next day.

Cons: Did not have online inventory, I took a chance item wouldn't be backordered.

Because of shipper's misrouting problem, I did not get item on time. When I called, they blamed shipper. (I explained I was their customer and not shippers customer). They did refund the shipping cost though.

"Ordered a refurbished garmin i3. They advertise same day shipping and I selected two day shipping as I needed the unit for the Saturday a week after ordering. They did not ship same business day even though it was ordered two days prior. Unit arrived with an unsealed box(as might be expected for a refurbished unit, but this one looked rifled through) and the unit did not have a battery compartment door. When I contacted them to rectify the problem, they replied that I should contact Garmin and it would take a while as it is the Christmas season. My reply is that I wasn't doing business with Garmin, rather Megagps and that Megagps did not fulfill their business agreement to send me what I had ordered and paid for. I was, after much arguement and discussion, phone calls and e-mails, allowed to ask for a return authorization via e-mail. When I did that several hours later I received the following from Greg :"since your only issue is the missing part we are going to send that part from another unit here, you will receive it tomorrow that should resolve your concerns. Sorry for your frustration. Greg Henderson" This was after 1 full day of arguing and sending e-mails back and forth and wasting time. It still has not arrived (24 hours after he claimed it was supposed to) I have received no further communication from Greg and have not received a return authorization. The short of this is that they are a bait and switch company, rifle the products before sending them out, fail horribly at customer service, and lie to you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Dec 18, 2006 update: Received part today; however, item was shipped UPS ground, not next day, as described in Greg's e-mail. I stand by my recommendation to not do business with this company.

"I just recieved my 60CX from MegaGPS (on Jan 26) and Greg Henderson honored the original low price advertised. I placed my order on Jan 9, 2006 when the 60CX was just announced. It was on backorder and finally shipped via ground on Jan 18. I wanted to say Greg has been awesome with returning emails and doing so very quickly, and was always very curtious. I was notified anytime there was news regarding availability and shipping. MegaGPS is great in my book! Anyone planning to do business with them will be very satisfied!

"I preordered a Garmin 60CSx from these guys as they had one of the best prices around. A rumor a few days later was going around that they were canceling orders and raising the prices. I checked and noticed that the prices had gone up but my order was still active and at the preorder price. When they were instock it was shipped and I received it a few days later. My credit card was billed for the preorder price and I received the item that I ordered. Definitely no bait and switch action here. I am very satisfied with my order."
