"Have an older notebook and when searching for memory found this company. Newegg and Amazon don't have any type of lookup tool, but Memory America has a search by computer, so I didn't even need to open up the RAM compartment on the bottom. I did anyway and did a search just by the sticker on the RAM and came up with the same result. I installed it and it worked as it should and my notebook is noticeably faster."

Got a Samsung and doubled my RAM bringing new life to a old but not useless machine. Like that it has a Lifetime Warranty too...I'll try not to spill coffee on all over it LOL."
"I've been buying from them for years for a few reasons. When needing more RAM for VM servers they not only have a good price, pretest RAM before mailing it to us, but offer a lifetime warranty for no additional charge. I've never had an issue getting HP OEM or compatible memory if HP has discontinued it on an old server."
"One of our clients just needed a simple upgrade on their system. So after some research, we found that Memory America carried the specific memory we needed to do a simple upgrade on a client. Placed the order and when the memory came in, the system was not seeing and did not like it. Possibly them memory stick was bad, called filled an exchange a week later another one came. Again replaced in clients system and once again, the same result. The system did not like the memory and would not even start up. So, after some research found that the wrong type was being sent to us. Called Memory America and set up the order for the correct memory that they said was compatible. Again another week, we get the third replacement and go to upgrade the client and once again the same result. Finally I call to find out why after 3 memory sticks sent , we keep getting the same result and then specified the exact memory that I want sent. The answer given to us, we do not carry that memory and can not get it either. After hearing this I asked, how is that when clearly online you say that you do carry it and have the compatible replacement. The same answer given, we can not get it nor do we carry it. It was a waste of time and not to mention a waste of our clients time as well. Needless to say order was placed with someone else and we wasted 4 weeks trying to get the correct memory stick with Memory America and they never had it to begin with. "

"I ordered 8gb memory for a little under $15.00. I was told that this was not the right type and the ""right" one was around $140.00. I then checked and the same memory that I had in my cart was over $150.00 online and It did show "Usually ships the same business day" but since I still wanted the $15.00 price I was told "Unfortunately, we do not have these parts in stock. We have cancelled your order and voided the charge to your card." They get you to place an order with the low price item then try to get you to spend more money on what they think you need. If you don't take the bait they just "cancel" the order. I would NEVER do business with this company again. "
"I ordered RAM from Memory America. Rather than fulfilling my order, they informed me that I would need to pay more than double the cost of the product I ordered and refused to honor the sale. Poor customer service provided by an incompetent reseller.
Response from Andrew Lin at Memory America: "Unfortunately we will have to cancel your order for the pricing that we had on the site was incorrect."
Perhaps they should consider pricing items accurately, or better yet, not at all."

"I had a great experience with this company. They have a great tool to figure what the correct RAM is needed for your system, so finding what I needed for an older laptop was easy. And they had the best price by far for RAM I needed. The order arrived very quickly. While I did experience some DOA issues with some of the RAM, they had replacements to me within a few days and included a return postage label to ship the bad pieces back at no cost to me. I will definitely buy from them again."
