"I puurchased a Tux with a written guarantee that I could bring it back to be re-taylored if my weight changed. I walked in with the guarantee, receipt and the Tux that was too big after my weight loss and was told it couldn't be done. They actually tried to sell me another Tux.
I went to another taylor who is doing the work, no problem, for $45. These guys are con men. The guarantee is a lie.
Buy somewhere else.
Save yourself some grief."
"Avoid them like the plague. Take your business elsewhere. They told me they were 97% accurate, lmao they couldn't even get 50%.The fools tried to give me the wrong stuff not once but twice!
Pitiful pitiful pitiful. I saw they don't actively participate in reviews, it's likely because they are incompetent and over priced."
"I have been shopping at Mens Warehouse for a year now. At first when I received my merchandise it was the right size and I liked what I got. But then a few weeks ago I ordered a suit and a topcoat. I was waiting patiently for the package, but it was never delivered to me. I tried calling and calling and finally got someone and they told me that my merchandise was sent back to the warehouse because they couldn't deliver to international addresses. But that doesn't make sense since everything I ordered was delivered internationally. It has been a month now and I still haven't received my merchandise. It has gotten so bad that I got a lawyer involved. Bottom line go somewhere where the customer service is better and you will be treated with more respect. This company has gone straight to hell! I will not ever buy anything from them ever again and I will not recommend anyone to purchase anything from them. Don't even waste your time."
"Men's Warehouse sucks. After a salesman opened two shirts for my son to try on, my son tried to open a third and another salesman yelled at him and told him he was not allowed to otherwise it would have to be returned. This is the only store preventing him from trying on a shirt to check size, fit, and appearance. We immediately left and went to Macy's, where a very nice woman gave us 90 minutes of her time and helped my son learn about fashion, style, fit, and other wardrobe aspects. I'll never go back to Men's Warehouse to buy my own suits or shirts based on how poorly we were treated today."
"Men's Warehouse will ruin a wedding! We had the misfortune of renting tuxedos from Men's Warehouse. At first, the tuxes came in a little late, but not problem, right? We had all been measured recently so everything should fit. First, one groomsman called to say that they didn't give him his jacket because it wasn't on the order. When I called, the associate said "What, you wanted him to look like the other groomsmen?" Finally his jacket came in. The father of the bride's jacket was much too small and the associate told him "to just deal with it" and same with the best man, except his was way too big. I guess the new fad in weddings is not to wear a jacket with a tuxedo??? According to the incompetent and rude Men's Warehouse employees. Then after the wedding, when I finally thought everything was over, the best man returned the tuxes to the store, and the associate refused to take one back, claiming that the groomsman who dared to want a jacket with his tuxedo owed for two tuxedos. Not only are the rude and incompetent, Men's Warehouse are also dishonest and will do anything to steal and double-charge from their customers."
"I rented a tuxedo. I tried it on before I left the store. the pants were about 10 sizes too large. She argued with me stating thats the way it is with generic tuxes. I told her I wanted a smaller pair of pants. She reluctantly got a pair that fit me well.
I did not notice that the shirt was also way too large. I was getting ready for the event, put the shirt on and realized it was incredibly large. I had to use one of my own shirts that did not match the tux. Upon return they asked me if the collar fit. I told them I did not even get to the point to buttoning the collar as it was WAY to big. He asked me if I tried it on in the store, I did but did not notice how incredibly large it was. I asked for a little leeway as I returned the tux one day late. They said because I tried it on and I was ok with it that no refund of the late fee is forthcoming.
I own a business and if I treated my customers like they do I would have been gone years ago. Number one, they need to train their people on how to fit a tux. It was so far off it was not funny. Number two, if they want repeat business they need to teach their sale people customer service. They did not even offer me an "I'm sorry". It's just your tough luck!
I will never stop on Men's Warehouse again. " I GUARANTEE IT"

"This chain is going downhill. When I first started shopping there ten years ago they had high-quality merchandise and salespeople who cared. Now all the clothes are made in Asia, Mexico, or Central America. It's hard to find the same salesperson in the store on a return trip. Sales have become confusing, and I just had to call their 800 number to report that a sale price promised to me in a "Perfect Fit" customer e-mail was not honored at the store register. Terrible! Terrible! This chain needs to do something fast to improve its quailty and service at all levels."
"On August 31st 2009, I chose two suits. One for myself and one for my son. I spent in the Sunnyvale California store $655.49. I took my son's suit with me but, the suit I chose was not available in the store. So, my salesman named Moses said he would call me when my suit was ready. After 3 days I got a call that the suit was at the store.I went the next day to pick up my suit. But, my salesman wasn't there so, I asked another salesman to help me. He brought my suit and I tried it on to see if it was my size and I noticed one sleeve was shorter than the other. I told him the salesman one sleeve is shorter than the other... Then he brought one alternation person to measure the sleeve and said he would fix it. I asked him also to alter the pants. He ask me to pay $31.00 to fix the sleeve and pants. I had no problem for paying for the pants to be altered..But, I am very upset that I was charged for the one sleeve that was too short. The jacket sleeves should be the same length and this is not my fault. This is a defect in the suit. Both sleeves should be the same length. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service I received and I would not recommend this store to any one that is looking to purchase a suit. Especially, after I talked to the sales person and was told I just work here and its company policy to charge for 1st alteration and 2nd is free if you need to have adjustment... But..what about if the suit is defective to begin with...Should I be charged for that...."
"I have had nothing but bad experiences with this store! Every time I visit the staff is standoffish. It is like pulling teeth to get someone to help you. Worse, they will do absolutely nothing to help customers. I tried to buy a wool topcoat from them a few years ago; they refused to order a coat in my size and instead tried to talk me into buying one two sizes too large. Most recently, I tried to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding. I found a suit I liked, and I was prepared to buy it, but I was convinced to postpone my purchase by an assistant manager who assured me that in two weeks a second suit I liked would be included as part of a "two for one" sale. I returned two weeks later to find out that neither suit was on sale any longer. Furthermore, they refused to order the original suit in my size. Instead, the manager tried to talk me into buying (yet again) a suit two sizes too large. I will never shop here again! You know there is something wrong with a store who talks you out of buying their products only so that they can reap a bigger commission once they are no longer on sale."
"I ran into a Men's Wearhouse on Tuesday the 25th to get a suit for an awards celebration at my office. I needed the suit by the 27th to wear to work.
I went in, had an awesome salesman. Told him my price cap was $250 and he stayed below that and didn't push me to go over. I picked one out, tried it on, the tailor came by and measured me to tailor the pants. I asked if I could have it the next night and was told "not a problem at all."
I came back the next night, tried it on again, it fit perfectly and took it home. I had a fantastic experience and will go back to them again anytime!"
"Overall, a positive experience. Very high quality stuff. I bought a suit in-store and the in-store consultant was very friendly and knowledgable. They definitely have some kind of suggestive selling program, because the consultant was laying out everything from ties to socks without me asking for these items (I have to admit I took some of the shirts and ties he suggested because they really did look nice with the suit).
Suit was tailored within 5 days. Consultant asked me when I was coming in to pick up the suit as he wanted to be there to make sure everything was OK. Well, I went there and the consultant I originally spoke to was not there. I spoke to another consultant and again the suggestive selling kicked in. This consultant saw I brought in new black shoes to see how they looked with my new suit, so he asked if I had brown shoes! He then tried to sell me a striped shirt with the suit. I can understand being a bit pushy on the original sell, but it was a bit annoying when I'm trying to pick up my final purchase.
They also gave me a PerfectFit rewards card. They had mentioned a $50 gift certificate and I assumed this card was gift certificate. I showed this card to the consultant as I was talking about the gift certificate and then found out that the card is just a club card and not a gift certificate at the register. The register person said the gift certificate would come within 7 to 8 weeks.
I'm not sure why this gift certificate cannot be given at the point of original sale, but I'm sure it's to get you back in the store to drop a few more bills.
Any ways, the suit fits great and looks perfect. Like they say: you get what you pay for."
