I called,emailed 3x already to file complaint.Everytime I contacted them they say the same thing - "We are sorry for the inconvenience. We contacted our supplier already. We will get back to you in 2-3 days time." I waited and waited...and it is now Jan 25 and still the same - no resolution.They told me they created another ticket for my complain and will contact me..again! DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THIS COMPANY IS ADVERTISING (i.e.100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED)...rather...IT IS GUARANTEED 100% DISSATISFACTION! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. By the way BBB rated them A+ ..i dunno how.. they close 200 complaint in 12 months so you can see how many are complaining about this company.. I should have checked resellerrating website before as most have similar bad experience."

When I tried to cancel, I got the run around. Finally they cancelled, bur were "working on" giving me my money back. Finally I had to notify my charge company and dispute the transaction. "I recently ordered a platform bed from Mercantila. It is a solid wood frame with a sleigh headboard and low footboard. It is exactly what I was looking for in a light cherry finish. The next best price I could find for this type of bed was $385 on Amazon. I paid $251 with s super saver code that was right on their website. I also got free shipping. The shipment did take almost 3 weeks to get to me, but for the price I paid it was worth the wait. "

As I sit here typing this review, on 4/12/12, my bed has been delivered. Check out the estimated shipping date above. My wife and I are in SHOCK. But it's a pleasant shock :-). We unpacked it to check for any damage and, happily, there is none! After reading some of the bad reviews, my wife and I were SERIOUSLY doubtful that the experience would be pleasant and I considered cancelling my order. However, SIX (YES, SIX) days later, the bed is in my home and we saved 50% on purchasing it locally. We were both amazed that the entire transaction, from ordering to delivery, was so painless and pleasant. This was my first experience with this online merchant, Mercantila/ZooStores and it was VERY nice. Maybe if I had to return something I'd be singing a different tune - I don't know. But two thumbs up YMMV

"DO NOT BUY FROM MERCANTILA!!! I ordered a gas grill from this company mid-March 2012. Mercantila billed my credit card BEFORE shipping the product, THEN notified me a few days later that the item was not available. I advised I wanted the order canceled and my credit card refunded. I was assured I would receive credit within a few days. After several phone calls, a couple of hours total on hold, and assurances by everyone I spoke with that I would receive credit, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED CREDIT ON MY CARD! This was a sizable purchase -- over $500! And I have been waiting almost a month and still have not received a satisfactory resolution to this problem. A LEGITIMATE COMPANY NEVER CHARGES A CREDIT CARD UNTIL THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SHIPPED. BEWARE OF MERCANTILA!!!"
"I ordered a Sunny Rowinng Machine from their sister company The Rowing Store. The quality was so bad I ended up returning it. They charged me 45.00 shipping for a 121.00 item that was "free" shipping to me. The only form of communication is via email. I voiced my complaint but they do not care. I hope this company goes out of business due to poor customer service."
"Horrible company! Theyhave a "sister company" zoostores.com whre a Tennis Cube Ball Machine with oscillation was being advertised for $499. We ordered and paid over the phone. The rep at first stated it was an additional $100 for the oscillation feature. We disputed due the clear advertisement and that there was no option to add $ or features to the ball machine. The rep went to the zoostores site we were on and saw the advertisement. She acknowledged the pricing and said she would honor the pricing and said we were being recorded for assurity. They sent the ball machine without oscillation and when I asked to listen to the recorded call they refused. The rep who did listen to the call said,"well she did say yes you were getting the oscillation but it was at the end of the call and she had already placed the order." They say we can return the machine we don't want but will have to pay shipping both ways AND a 25% restocking fee - that's over $200 for something I didn't order and don't want! This company is a joke and should be shut down. Buyer beware - I will NEVER buy from them again. I reported them to the BBB and the attorney generals office for deceptive business practices."
